  1. Found it!! Yes I have 9 waiver claims in because my 6 last week all didn't go through.... then my 4 the next day didn't and I finally got 1 guy on Wednesday. You won't be taking all of them this time!
  2. I'll see if I can find that on the website as well. Thanks appreciate showing where it is at!
  3. Website mainly. I am usually on my Chromebook.
  4. Maybe there is a three team trade in the works we can sort? Although not sure how @blackngold_blooddoes that... I can't find that function yet, but I am trying!
  5. Week 14: Wells Fargo Championship Rory is back! Congrats to him on getting a win on the board this season. Who knew all it would take was BNG trading him away as he mentioned above. As most of us golf fans I am sure we are all very happy to see him do well. Admittedly I didn't watch as the weekend was far too busy and my team was awful... High Scoring team of the week was @tchat07who had a full team playing this week. He outscored everyone by nearly 50 points! Big trade for Rory certainly helped, but a great all around performance by his team. We had a lot of 10-0 teams this week (I am guessing the league median has something to do with the variation week to week) Congrats to all those above teams as we get closer and closer to the playoffs this weeks mean more and more. Which leads us to our standings with @ZJBogey2 once again reclaiming his top spot after being away, but never too far behind. Our top 15 are as follows. Ever so slowly that gap of 10 games continues to increase and the top teams pull away. That being said with so many weeks left and the randomness that is Fantasy Golf we still have a lot of teams that can climb and make moves to impact the leaderboard. Which means our cut line (Top 35) is also more critical. Only 3 games separate those teams, however 17 teams are within 10 games. It is going to be very interesting to see who makes some moves and who holds tight just to secure some wins and move onto the tour championship. The way I saw the week was the leaderboard and rounds were a bit wild, lots of momentum swings and some untimely bogeys and doubles for some and some stellar pushes to make birdies by others made for interesting names and in the end there were a LOT of good players for the week left on waivers. Those are just 5, but there were 40 players who made the cut that were left on waivers from last week. Our League Median has settled into a comfortable spot at 123.58 which is becoming a bit more of a normal (4 players at or around 30 points each makes sense) of course we have weeks which are much higher and lower, but this is looking more along the lines of the norm to be expected. A lot of close matchups as well this week- I try to only pick out the ones that are within 1 point of each other for everyones reference. That just about wraps the week up. A good week of fantasy with some trades as well which most of you saw and big names on the move. Now let the frenzy of the waiver wire begin and who will get that magical pickup to help propel them up the standings!? One last shoutout to @xOldBenKenobiX for updating and upgrading our trade chart. Even though there is the ever so valuable and envious golden ticket for the winner at the end of this, it is great to have a awesome group to enjoy this fun and enjoyable part of MGS Forum. The people who have been involved (commissioners and organizers) thank you again for growing this huge fantasy league into what it is and providing us with the entertainment it provides us. We have 13 weeks left till playoffs and a potential 130 wins on the board, how many can your team grab? What do you need to secure your spot in the top 35 and potentially higher for those ever so valuable bonus points? Good luck to all and thanks for taking the time to read!
  6. All you Bryson owners should give the guy a little pep talk... https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10002390-bryson-dechambeau-flies-back-to-wells-fargo-championship-after-thinking-he-missed-cut
  7. He got special exception into the PGA, but it looks a lot of what Spieth went through and he doesn't have the same track record. I am hopeful for him and would like to see him just have solid rounds like his first round, but it seems a long ways off.
  8. Yikes... Early in the round it looked okay for 4 to make the cut, then Fowler dropped off... then Finau and Mav struggled most the way but was still hopeful. In the end it back to back bad weeks here. I still like my team though, bad luck with my pickups and unwillingness to fork out FABB cost me Wallace, but it is all part of the grand plan! As for Fowler it is so hard to say. Yes he is, but I think he still has some value in trade just won't be for as much as most of us would hope.
  9. My team is dancing with the cutline making it stressful! I could be anywhere from 4 making the cut to just Hovland... Hoping Mav can come up with a few extra birdies down the stretch to put himself into the weekend.
  10. We'll take a look at it and see why that is. Thanks for pointing it out! Glad you like the sheet and are finding it useful. Nice to know there are people using it or at the very least looking at it. The way it is set up OWGR and FedEx will auto populate, but Fantrax data has to be copy and pasted in to get the data.
  11. I have tried to make trades with teams around the cut line and below as well. Of course I mention any specific names, but there are some teams that aren't very active or acknowledge trades so it can be difficult in that way as well. I am trying to make some smaller moves, but I'm pretty happy to hold tight for the next little while and see how things play out. I am really curious how Fitz and Fowler are going to do and believe they could make or break my run. Fitz is having a awesome season and been getting great points when he plays, but in the end how much will he really be worth in a trade or will he make the top 30 and be someone to hold onto? Fowler I just want to see improve I don't see him being a part of the playoffs, but one can hope!
  12. Huge congrats guys! Well deserved and cannot wait to follow along and see how it all goes!
  13. A lot of it is just gut feelings along with how you like players. I know that someone like P. Reed is a great golfer and good fantasy player, but I am just not a fan and would rather have guys I enjoy rooting for and watching. Part of the reason I wanted Fowler back after trading him away and would like to get Hatton back after my deal for Finau that he was involved in. Sometimes you can see trends with players, but a lot of it is just gut feelings. Oh and a good way to value players who won't do well is watch the NLU Draft Kings specials... they almost never hit on guys ever so they are a bad luck charm.
  14. Don't think I have that to give up and would be way under your asking price.
  15. It does take points into account (from the start of our season Jan 28th). It takes 2 Fantrax numbers: Total points scored *top 300 and Points per event *top 300. I am sure we can tweak the numbers as we go along. I picked those numbers and calculations based on my gut feeling and more or less how I value those rankings. Although it takes their points into consideration it is their ranking within their point totals... EG Spieth has the most points scored this season so he is gets 300 points which is devalued down to 285 (95% of total). For world ranking still 300 are awarded to top spot, but are awarded 80% of 300 so a max of 240. PPE is much less same 300 and 20% because there are some random players who play 1 event and do well, so it helps with some artificial rankings. Of course we are open to adjusting, what would be a more fair number? Again this was done based off my gut and how I felt the rankings should be best valued.
  16. OWGR is a hard one to quantify. Personally I think it has way more value at draft time and early season. As we go along in the season it, again for me, has less value. I am a little more of what have you done for me lately (minus Fowler) so although those guys do have a lot of value I would argue they are in a decent spot. DJ and Hatton haven't played a lot of events in our season so far and I think that factors in as well.
  17. Exactly, there are some solid players out there who are having quietly good (fantasy) seasons and some names (I bring up english again) who have struggled and Woodland is another. Of course with gains in FedEx and fantasy points they can climb up, but at least for getting into playoffs depth can be very valuable. I'm learning there is a balance in having top players and guys who will simply play and make cuts to gain points on more of a week to week basis. Of course some people will disagree with some of the numbers or rankings and there is nothing wrong with that. Watching and listening to a lot of fantasy football analysts they will value players all over the place and that's fine. When it comes to this it just helps sort and not rely soley on names of players.
  18. I think both BNG and I can assist you with that... await something in your inbox! Edit: Nvm can't find anything that would be fair for both sides or that wouldn't be considered stealing....
  19. Get ready to get lost down the rabbit hole and dive deep into the numbers as @xOldBenKenobiXand myself (although credit does go to him) have been working behind the scenes to create the ultimate trade chart to help everyone improve their rosters and value players. Again big shout out to him, as he has made this incredible and taken my Sunday project and made it into a real tool for all of you to use... for only the cost of 1 draft pick in next years draft!! Before a few housekeeping notes: Please be patient as it will be open to everyone and if we have many using it then it may slow down a bit. It is very simple to use, drop downs of players, player comparisons and all your data easily visible on one sheet. With a separate sheet for trade analysis. Also please avoid changing any of the numbers or forumlas as he even has it so most of the data will auto populate! Here is the link and enjoy this amazing tool in helping you evaluate players and make informed choices on trades and offers. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kjVzaQBdvXrK_cESzqtzLl-r8E9eLC5-2OWbDpZn_-0/edit#gid=731279675 Keep in mind peoples value of players is still subjective and although this list really does help doesn't mean everyone will value players the same way. Enjoy and please everyone who does use it give you a big shout out to @xOldBenKenobiXfor his work on this!
  20. Congrats to those who won! Pretty sure we can guarantee that nobody would have guess that metric haha Looking forward to seeing what the next events are and thank you to both MGS and TheGrint for putting this on. Great way to stay engaged.
  21. Here is the link to the field: https://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/wells-fargo-championship/field.html This way you know forsure if player X is going to be playing to help you with your decision.
  22. I was lucky it was off season so nearly all were open, just drop in. One round I played with the president and a couple other board members which was great fun and they were able to go through a lot of the history of the course. My way of travel is not for everyone, I don't mind not having a plan or just seeing how things go. I had clubs, car and phone for gps so was able to find some really unique and cool spots along the way.
  23. That is correct. It normally gets updated Tuesday, however if someone backs out or is unable to play (Hatton last week) it updated within a hour or seeing the article that he wasn't playing so although sometimes a bit slow to get it updated at the start of the week they are normally very good after Tuesday of the week.
  24. This is a fantastic topic! I'll do a quick rundown on two of my trips. Sorry not so quick.... The first was January 2019, I was assigned a event in a tiny tourist town of Naseby New Zealand. When I found out I was going to have a couple extra days I hopped on here and made a thread asking to see if there was anyone here who had any recommendations which got me in touch with @Nunfa0. Although he lives about 6 hours drive away from where I was going to be, when you're flying across the world and can meet up with someone with common interests it was well worth it. He gave me a list of courses that he recommended and we planned out days that would work. From there I picked a course that interested in Christchurch and we also played at his home track. Pegasus was a awesome course that had a good amount of variation was in good condition and a great finish to the trip. Templeton was his home track (we were kind of entered into a tournament) which was very different to Pegasus, but in a good way. Was more treelined and just a great course to play. Before I met up with him to play those two rounds, I played 1 other round in the town where the event was being held (9 holes) and it was on the honor system, just walk up drop your money in a box and go play (more on this later) it was fun and so HOT... summer in NZ is no joke. Finally I also checked out a course in Queenstown, if you check out my gallery there are some photos from there. This course was hilly as all get out and tough for a first time around. That being said it was so much fun and the staff were very friendly. I couldn't tell you what I shot as the views were awesome at all of them and was just so much fun. Nunfa0 also has awesome food recommendations and craft beer selections, for those of you who get the honor of going to NZ and Christchurch be sure to give him a shout for some recommendations. Second trip was not long after in August of 2019. I was newly single and wanted a get away. I had been offered work for another event in the same town in NZ and decided to tack on Australia to my trip. I did 1 week in Cairns, I picked Cairns for the great barrier reef and it came highly recommended by the travel agent I used. Plus there were several courses close by. I rented a car (remember they drive on the wrong side there) and had a hostel booked (6 nights $85US for the whole time with breakfast) and simply emailed the courses I wanted to play before the trip and booked my rounds through them, they were all very accommodating and happy to have visitors playing. In Australia I played Cairns golf course and Half Moon Bay, both fun and challenging courses with lots of bunkers and a few crocodiles swimming around. I then flew to Aukland (North Island NZ) and had to drive down to Naseby (South Island). Here is where it gets interesting.... I had two things planned when I landed. My rental car and a morning I was going to meet up with Nunfa0 at a links style course called Waimari on whatever day it was. Other then that nothing. Admittedly not a way to travel for all, but my plan was I would drive the east coastal road and if I found or saw a course I would stop and try and play. It was winter so most the courses were all honour system, no staff, just park/pay/play. I tried to get onto Cape Kidnappers, but the timing didn't work Instead I managed to find 2 courses in the North Island and I honestly don't remember what they were called. Price was $15 for each and I played the 18 in about 2 hours. I also squeezed in 14 or so holes at a mountain goat track in Wellington which is the single most hilly course ever. Seriously ever. Waimari with Nunfa0 was awesome, early morning round some good shots and good company and beer after. Then I hit the road again and did the same thing, drive find a course play, keep driving get tired book a Air BnB and repeat. This was for about a week then I had to work for 10 days. Finally to finish off the trip I played Arrowtown Golf course just outside of Queenstown which to date is a top 3 course for me. No bunkers on the entire course and the whole thing cut naturally into the land which made for some really weird but fun holes that make you think creatively. Highly recommend! Sadly that was it I had to fly home. In the end it was another 7 courses in NZ and 2 in Australia. Last story I promise. As soon as I found out I was going a second time I wanted to go to Tara Iti. My dream course and I found there was a way via NLU to get on. I went through all the steps, emailed, had my home course write a recommendation letter and I was accepted to play! I would have just been able to fit it in, however then the price came. You have to stay on site, which makes sense its remote. I don't remember the entire breakdown, but it would have come out to $4000 for 2 rounds of golf with a caddie and 1 night with no food or drinks included. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience as if you do this route you are not ever allowed to play again unless you magically get a membership which you need to well be rich and somehow get a invite. Even still I couldn't quite justify it and I kinda wish I had, but maybe another time? Okay that's it sorry for being so long... but wow what a few trips and cannot wait to read others experiences.
  25. I agree he is hard to evaluate and maybe he can be flipped for 2 guys to someone who can afford to take on a little more risk? Btw @xOldBenKenobiXis doing some fantastic updates to the trade chart that will soon be rolled out which will hopefully help evaluate players a little better as well.
