Jacckmcg5 got a reaction from johngschulz in Center shafted putters
For 30 years, I have preferred a center shafted putter. For 28 of those years , I have been using a centershafted broomstick. From 2016-18, I used a 33" centershafted from ping, seemore and odyssey.
I still have them all ..... see pictures.
I mentally prefer the symmetrical look and balance. I'm not sure I can try anything else. My putting swing path travels directly down my target time.

Jacckmcg5 reacted to Kenny B in How do you mark your golf balls?
About 15 years ago following a pros advice, I began marking balls with a line through the ball alignment aid and a 90º line to one end forming a T. The stem of the T I aim down the fairway and on my intended putting line; I use the top of the T as an alignment aid for the face of my Ping putter. I know that I’m aimed correctly and that my putter is square to the aim line. Since I don’t look at the ball when I make the stroke, having the ball and putter aligned correctly, I can focus on speed without wondering if I’m aimed correctly standing over the ball… I used to do that!!

T-line and 2 dots next to logo in-line w T-line. Everything corresponds to my putting pre-shot routine.

I use a ball spinner-supposedly finds the center of gravity-and use markers from the top and the splatter mark is different and unique each time.

Jacckmcg5 got a reaction from cksurfdude in Does anyone walk anymore?
Good morning. I am 58 yo, I recently purchased a weekday season pass at my local course which is 2 miles from my house. I get home from work around 330pm and hit the course around 5pm. Walking at this time is the only way to play. It's quiet and a perfect way to end the day.
I purchased a Sunday bag to walk but I went back to my ping moonlite bag. It's just more comfortable. I finish 9 holes in between an hour and 15 or hour and 30 minutes. It doesn't take much longer to walk than ride.
I really enjoy and appreciate the game more by walking than riding. It's peaceful.

Jacckmcg5 got a reaction from Rob Person in Unofficial review - L.A.B Mezz Max Broomstick
Great review 👏. I have been a broomsticker since 1996. The broomstick gives me great confidence and comfort every round. I just purchased the mezz max and it took me a few rounds and hours on the practice green to get used to the weight. Now, I love it! I am curious about trying put the broomstick DF 2.1 or DF 3.
