It would be interesting to see what percentage of these newbies stick around. Personally I wasn't aware of testing opportunities when I first joined. I did it because it appeared to be a friendly and accepting forum (read you didn't have to be a scratch golfer to participate).

Welcome to the 'our left hands got smacked by a ruler' thread'. And yes I was told I was going to hell because I had a preference for left handedness. FYI I won and I'm still left handed.

Interesting what a bit of weight loss can do for this trick. In January when I started my weight loss and work out program I couldn't get close to my toes. After 15 pounds less plus workout program and 'yoga of golf' I can get to the toes. Squats are a bit tougher even with real knees - function of age I guess. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

Playing with our traveling group the other day and having a miserable day of it, including a few triples. On the last hole, a blind par 5, had a great tee shot, 2 good fairway shots and a chip that landed just a couple of feet away from the pin for a gimme. That par =$7. in skins plus our team won $12. for best score ( that par gave us the win). I always hope I have a good last hole so I can keep coming back.

Same thing happen to us - except they came in the form of phone calls. Thankfully we chose to disconnect our land line. Also another reason why I liked the DVR.
