Alta Distansa R was next best shaft. Funny thing is I couldn’t really “feel” a difference between the G and G410 Plus. The 6-8 yards is enough difference. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Yup got one ordered, Ping G410 Plus[emoji33] It was kinda tedious but fun, he set me up with the SFT first and we tried every shaft (R,Sr,aftermarket) and setting but nothing would be any better than current G driver. Switched to the G410 Plus 12’ and everything seemed to settle in. Again went with every shaft combo and the winner was the stock Alta Sr shaft. I was one tired ole fart but the Plus was 6-8 yards past my G driver, Ball speed 100, launch 14’-16’. Now the 1 week wait. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I’m liking these irons and the new specs a lot more. Had a decent iron outing on 9 this morning. The SR shafts are the correct one for me, hate to admit it. Height is acceptable on good strikes and on a couple of shots crazy long. Tomorrow should get a few shots on a LM. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Could only get 9 holes in this morning, having the house painted and want to be there on 1st day. 65’ who knew it would ever get below 70’ in central FL! Shot a Pedestrian 43, driver was good to me except on 9th hole. Getting used to the G410 iron distances and new Lie angle. Carry distance didn’t make sense on a couple iron shot but I’m writing it off as new iron Honeymoon. Absolutely killed a 7iron from 175. Have no idea what happened as it was supposed to be a safe shot to keep away from water and bunker but got to the green. My 7 iron is a 150 tops. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I took a good friend to a outpatient surgery last week. He’s just a kid at 66 and he’s making plans for golf 3 days later. I didn’t say a thing but on the ride home he asked me to cancel him out of everything for a minimum of a week, it’s going to be more than that. I stopped in to see him today and he looks a lot better but still need another 5 days. Invasive Surgery takes time and patience. So take your time and heal properly guys.
