  1. They are cute as shoes, too.
  2. Having to watch Michigan is payment enough.
  3. To heck with a backup, that’s a new goal
  4. Well I know where to move now if I ever need a back up plan.
  5. That is a beauty! Oddly enough, it looks like the person took good care of it before leaving it in the trash.
  6. That looks like a ton of fairway woods and a whole lot of fun!
  7. I really hope the update is the source of the problem. I haven't been able to play as frequently as I did in May-July (or as I would like), so the frustration increases more and more because it is taking more time to get out and play.
  8. I’m very disappointed in it right now. However I really like the presentation of the stats much better than ShotScope. I’m hoping Arccos will start working properly soon so I can give it a proper head to head against ShotScope.
  9. It sure looks like it. But I have no idea. I’d like to get my hands on them and find out.
  10. You guys were onto something with the F9. It has been an accuracy hog. I have loved it since it has been in the bag. I have tried both an Evenflow black and the stock Atmos Blue, with varying degrees of success. When my swing is on and I can get after it, the Evenflow is a great shaft. At the moment, though, it has taken a back seat to the Atmos and I think that may ring true for the duration. Tour spec model is almost perfect at 44.5". I would share some Arccos stats, but arccos as been anything but reliable for the past few weeks. When I first started all was great with a small learning curve, had my apple watch rocking in place of shot scope. Out of the blue, the apple watch combo won't track the whole round. In fact, it recorded shots on 9 of 18 holes my last time out(1-8, 18) and missed shots on those 9 holes (yes, my phone was in my pocket). Now onto the Pumas, these are without a doubt the best golf shoes I have ever had on my feet. The ignite foam is holding up extremely well, even with walking most of my rounds. Even the occasional jog hasn't depleted the foam. The rubber soles grip the heck out of the turf with 0 slipping in wet and dry condition. They have kept my feet bone dry in morning rounds and they still look relatively brand new. On top of all of that, they provide very good support throughout the swing. I cannot recommend these shoes enough.
  11. http://rzngolf.com/ Look familiar?
  12. I was very fortunate to find a couple of old Titleist balata balls in my range bag a few weeks back, and this quote couldn't be more accurate. This needs to be to be etched in stone at MGS headquarters.
  13. I'm glad you posted this. I remember you telling us that in Rock Hill and it was the exact reason why I posed the question. I hope more testers will get around to answering it. I am really interested if anyone suffers the same gapping problem you are having.
  14. @jddaigneault @revkev if you guys still have the specific "Tour x" ball that feels like a rock (JD) and softer than the regular tour ball (rev), would you consider cutting those balls to see if they are indeed the same ball?
  15. That's interesting that you both are catching fliers with a ball that is generally more of a high spin design. I figured that a low compression/lower spin design might be more susceptible. Count me intrigued. @edingc I definitely haven't had any of those instances outside of the first couple of times out on the course. The only on comes to mind either the first or second time I had them out for testing. I hit a PW 155-160 uphill but it was with a marshmellow ball out of the rough. I haven't had that problem since. I shared a similar sentiment to the GW when I first got it. Strangely it has been my best performing club, even with the random loss in distance.
  16. Great question. I haven't had any "fliers" to that extent. If anything, I have had the opposite with the GW. Occasional shots coming up 10 yards shorter than expected. With that said, the 4-6 irons seem to be coming around at last so I should start getting some good data from them. Have you noticed fliers are more susceptible to one golf ball over another?
  17. How does the CG/balancing "line up" with the CG marking that is printed on the ball?
  18. How are the distances comparing across your clubs to your previous gamer? Are you seeing the distance separation that you normally do between woods/irons/wedges?
  19. Really interesting look at clubs for 'playas vs clubs designed for forgiveness.
  20. Had a case of the toey’s this weekend that I couldn’t fix and played the worst round of golf that I have played in years. But, the forgiveness on these irons continues to impress. Bad strikes still continue to travel and get up in the air enough to hold a green. One of my concerns going into this test was about stopping power. So far so good. 8 and 7 irons from 160-175, are holding greens better than expected. I don’t have photos of recent results, but runout has been around the 5 yard mark from these distances. The GW is producing spin to a rate combined with the moonshots it produces to the rate that shots are hopping and stopping or even pulling back from the ball mark. This is a surprise. As I get back into a steady practice routine and on the course more frequently, I’m going to do some head to head testing with the Nikes. Did I mention how high of a ball flight these irons produce?
  21. Couldn't agree more with the entire post. Our problem is found in our used clubs are lefty clubs, and that used market is certainly best for the buyer. Hang in there @Kor.A.Door, that Ping is too nice of a putter not to find a new home.
  22. A little late on this but got the opportunity to sneak in a round with @Kor.A.Door and @SteddyGolf on Monday for golf tournament benefiting a local private autism center. Couldn't have asked for two nicer and more talented guys to play golf with. This is my second round with Korey and the first with Tim. I had an absolute blast with these guys!
