The tapping sounds like it will give us a chance. The head feels like it was glued in. Spoke with Ping today, they were reasonably helpful but the main solution is pointing us to an authorized dealer to order a new shaft. A used TFC 189 in Reg flex has been a little bit more difficult to source (for a price less than the whole driver) than we had hoped for. I was thinking along the same lines. I had to head into a meeting when I was on the phone with Ping, I am going to give them another call and see what they think about the shaft being stuck.

There’s a young fella at our club who happens to be a family friend who in an absolute freak accident broke his G30 after our round today. I tried pulling the shaft by using the torque wrench and two things happened: 1. A gorilla cannot pull the shaft from the head 2. The screw has come completely out of the head Has anyone else ever run into either of these problems? Most importantly, I really need to find a stock reg flex shaft for a G30. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I second this opinion. It's not perfect but it is VERY good. I just played a round recently with another guy that had one, which is extremely rare because SC has now become Seattle with the enormous amounts of rain we continue to receive. Hardly dying out.

One, this thread is awesome. Two, Kirke would absolutely destroy me on a golf course. This is so cool how you are using golf to spend time with Kirke and letting him decide on what sport, if any, to play. Too many of my closest friends were forced into being the living dream of their parents. That really had an affect on them, even to this day. I vote that this be renamed the, "this will make you happy" thread. And this is really making me want a skytrak...
