A little late with my reply but I have a lot of Respect for Tom Brady and that he never held out or held the team ransom to get paid. Regardless of the fact his wife makes way more cash then him, his team first / win first attitude in taking less money to give the club more to bring in talent needs to me commended. the only thing I don't agree with here is the leading with the head is a natural body brain function. If you have never seen it look up rugby on youtube and watch the mayhem, I played for 20 years and officiate now and the first thing taught is proper tackling , aim for the hips and quads , not launching headfirst into an oncoming train. Maybe I am off base in my comparison. appreciate your thoughts and I do agree that the players are aware of the risks and still take them.

It might be petty but it really irritates me when I catch up To someone and notice they are Playing the tips (gold tees at my home track) and think wow they must be really good and then watch there tee shots and it's like a fire work exploding it goes up but could go anywhere. Ok , I'll give them the benefit of the doubt maybe all them just got unlucky.. then second shots and nope .. confirm. My interest level today is a lot less than a couple years ago. I am a fantasy geek with 20 teams a year and because of that I do find I cheer for players more than teams anymore. With out crossing the moral code, there is just to much negative noise around the NFL to ignore, they have some serious issues they need to address with perhaps the biggest being player safety.

This spring I went driver shopping over multiple weekends and tested all the new ping drivers, all the m 1-4 series from taylormade, cobra, Cleveland , Srixon and both Rogue draw and regular, I think I hit 14 different drives over the course of a month and kept coming back to the rogue. a bit about my game, I am a mid to high handicapper with swing speed under 95 mph , playing the reg flex shaft. I have the setup currently on draw +1 at 11.5 loft. During testing the Rogue draw out distanced and helped correct my left handed slice to where my drives are mostly center to center left in the short grass and findable, still with the odd miss hit. I attribute a lot of my improvement this year to being able to have a lot of par 4s be driver short iron (7-pw) and not driver 4/5 or chip back into the fairway.

Really working on my driver swing for more distance. I'm very stiff armed and only take a 3/4 swing,Sacrificing distance for accuracy. Spent tonight hitting a ton of driver shots bringing my driver back above my shoulders and started seeing some decent results. Also working on hitting a hybrid, I'm certain I'll win a lottery before i get comfortable with the hybrid but it's getting better. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

great job on stage one, looking forward to reading about the resutls in stage 2. i have 16 rounds in with my g700's and I have never played better.

I have started watching meandmygolf on youtube. Have some very good instructional videos. fairly good production quality. I also watch Rick Sheils and Peter Finch.

Up until a week ago my bag went driver to 4 iron. I knew for myself that I had a big yardage gap, so I started experimenting with hybrids and had little to no success, really struggled to find any consistency with them. I am trying out a king cobra oversized 4/5 hybrid now and first hits I like it a lot. time will tell .

have not played in a week due to rain , went out for 9 with two of my sons this morning and shot a 37. +2 personal best for me over 9. More importantly my boys are starting to make more contact and seeing some results and getting excited to golf more . great morning.

I am looking at fairway woods and hybrids. I struggle to find one that I am comfortable with and able to consistently hit. tried some of the new offerings on the market last week at the golf shot but not feeling it. I am looking at the King Cobra oversize 3-4 hybrid.
