I feel your pain, I have spent more time on my game this past winter than in any 10 years combined.. I am feeling like this was the year... Snow starting to melt, temps warming up. I went the hybrid route this year , Callaway super hybrid adjustable to 15 degrees to 19. And the mavrik max 3h at 19* and 5h at 24*. I dont swing fast an after my last lesson my instructor thinks I need to add a wood to my bag and ditch the super hybrid.. I tried the Sim Ti 3 wood and it is a rocket and Max is as well.. I am on the fence about giving up on the super hybrid just yet but the way I hit the Sim 3 woods I am now back to drawing board. Good Luck on your search. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

I have been listening to The Weeknd quite a lot, he collaborated on a few songs (Starboy) but once I heard Blinding Lights , I started to listen more. Wont be for everyone but something catchy about it. I started distance running this winter so i try and have upbeat play lists that look more like a teenager picked them then a mid 40’s man... My wife supports my golf habit 1000% percent, I was actually going to not golf as much this summer but she and the kids bought me my membership for Christmas this year. We both enjoy spending time together but we also have our own activities that we enjoy and support each other in doing. We are a blended family and I think nothing of keeping her/our kids for a weekend so she can go to something she wants to do and vice versa. The provincial government in Alberta has closed all non essential services as of Friday. The pro shops were open for membership and merchandise sales up until then. We have snow still so we were 4-6 weeks away most likely from golf. Hopefully this lock down will help “flatten the curve” and get life back to some sort of normalcy. Nice looking set up, I’ve already changed my irons already this year and it’s only March.. started off with cobra t rails then hit the mavrik standard irons one night and sold the t rails the next day and bought the mavriks. Lots of great new gear out and lots of last years gear I’m seeing starting to be knocked down in price at my local shop. Cobra speed zone irons are supposed to be very good. Went on eBay and found multiple sets of the f max for relatively reasonable prices. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Have you looked at any of the new options out this year? Sorry i cant offer much more than when I googled the cobra fat max their are heaps of reviews come up. I have a slow swing speed as well, but after getting fit into a set of mavrik irons with light graphite shafts I was up almost 5 mph club head speed an 9 mph ball speed. I got the TM2 today and it’s hard on the eyes but I putted 100 balls with it on my indoor mat. I have to say the truss was not as offensive looking from the top line looking down on it and lining up the putter to ball. I was pleasantly surprised. It felt firm off the face, and it felt stable and I was able to go straight back/straight forward and hole a lot of putts. I set up my IPad and took slo mo video from multiple angles and I really did not see a lot of head turn on contact on the video, it really held the line. Overall I am impressed with it. going to keep putting it through the paces here before I decide if I’m sending it back after the 2 week trial. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

Thanks for the insight on the putters, I have 3 currently and I am dating the stroke lab double wide, I also have an odyssey tank 7 and a spider x. I have never tried a centre shaft putter but I am demoing a TM Truss TM2 putter, it should be here in a couple days. I think it happens to everyone , I had it happen to me last year before a 9 hole round I actually cancelled my tee time and went to the shop where my instructor works and had a lesson instead. I was a mess.. every shot looked like I was swinging the wrong way (RH instead of LH). After that I really limited my range time to a specific warm up and then go golf.
