  1. ^^^ Thanks. Turns out the Costco MGI Zip Navigator AT is only $100 more than than the non-AT version I was looking at elsewhere. And the Costco package includes even more accessories than the other source, both with free shipping - so I I just ordered the Costco AT. I have to believe the AT is a little less likely to tip, though I’m told it happens to everyone eventually. I’m really looking forward to it, and now I’ll “have to” walk most/all the time to justify the purchase, offsetting the cost of a riding cart. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. It will be nice to just walk 18 without pushing or carrying anything for the first time in my life!

You’ll enjoy it. It’s pretty stable. Just walk with hand on it when crossing curbs or climbing steep hills. Be sure to adjust the rear wheelie wheel out so it doesn’t tip over backwards when climbing steep hills. Don’t ask me how I know. . It’s definitely worth the investment if you play and walk quite a bit.

  2. I had the regular navigator year before last and sold it to a buddy when I had knee surgery and was out of commission a while. I just bought the all-terrain model in December when Costco had a sale. I paid $1400 with tax at Costco. It came with a seat which is great on slow play days and a few other accessories. The front wheels are wider and the tires may be a very slight amount more aggressive than the regular one. I don’t know that it’s worth $200 more than the regular navigator but if I were buying them again I would probably go with the all-terrain model.

  3. Someone who uses a slur like that, even if it’s quietly directed at themselves, means that slur is most likely part of their vocabulary. That’s not acceptable. The amount of brushing off I’m seeing in this thread is disappointing, to say the least.

Strap a live mic on this week and share the results with us. I think most of us utter words we shouldn’t occasionally. I agree he shouldn’t have said it. So does he and he apologized. Should he be stoned on live TV? Fined? Banished to cut golf course grass the rest of his life? Or maybe just realize he made a big mistake and learn from it? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

  4. CG2, I'm also going to throw in an idea for an accessory that should be a must get for someone like you who's thinking it might be a change, and that's a seat that you can attach to whatever cart you get. A lot of the older guys I play with swear by them and considering you don't now how your body is going to react, especially with your recent weight loss, a good investment for sure.

Definitely. I have an MGI Navigator battery operated cart with a seat. On slow days it’s sure nice to be able to sit down. I agree the remote can be distracting but you can also just walk behind it like a push cart without pushing.

  5. This post us most timely. I’m in the market for a new bag as well. I have a Clicgear 3.5+. I saw a YouTube video that McGolf Custom Clubs did featuring a Sun Mountain rep. She showed a bag called Sync that was specifically designed for pushcarts. It looks interesting and worth checking out.

The Sync doesn’t even fit a Sun Mountain cart very well. I had one on a SM and now have an MGI Navigator battery operated cart that it’s just OK on. Not sure what it’s supposed to “sync” with.

  6. Anybody listen to any? I've been listening to Fore Play, by barstool sports recently. Just a couple average dudes talking golf. They have pretty good guests- David Feherty, George Brett, Willy Wilcox, Wesley Bryan to name a few. Looking for something to listen to in my drives to/from work

Used to listen to Foreplay until they started talking about Jack Nicklaus dying before he would let Tiger win more tournaments than he has. They also can’t seem to complete a sentence without using the F word. They do have some good guests but the podcasters themselves are just rambling most of the time. To disrespect Jack was uncalled for. I think they sit around and play with themselves while watching old Tiger video.

  7. Played at Kicking Bird Golf Club in Edmond, OK today with my oldest son. It was really windy today and I was playing for the first time the 2019 ProV1. The course was in really great shape - I had three birdies and one bogey for a 2 under 68. I hit 9 of 12 fairways, 12 of 18 greens and 27 putts. I have been testing the Stroke Lab 9 the last few weeks but I went back to my Black Series Tour Design 9. I played on Tuesday and I used the Stroke Lab and I could not get my distances right so yesterday I spent a few hours on the putting green and it was no contest: the Black Series won hands down. I have used that putter for 10-11 years and it is so good. I honestly thought the Stroke Lab would be an easy transition but it just wasn't and today was confirmation; 27 putts is really solid for me. I really happy with my round today considering the wind was howling (It's Oklahoma so it's always windy but today it was blowing at 20+ today) but I controlled my golf ball well today. After a solid round of golf, I found out that I was chosen to be a tester for Srixon golf balls so it's been a good day

Very nice round! You only beat me by 19 strokes in the same course yesterday. The course condition is coming along nicely. A few more sunny days and it will be outstanding.

  8. Golf is not sick and it is not dying. Speed it up or just keep it where it is.... makes no matter. This is just like the NFL is supposedly losing fans and viewers.... no, it's not!
I don't like taking over 4 hours to play either, but I keep going back to do it again every week end.... lol.

I know 1 fan the NFL lost and if you can’t play in 4 hours or less you shouldn’t be on the course. These guys have the exact yardages, wind etc. it shouldn’t take 90 seconds to hit a golf shot.
