  1. Energy drink replacing the typical coffee today, it's that type of morning. What is saving me is knowing the quest for GREEN starts tomorrow. Happy Masters Eve y'all
  2. Doesn't hurt being from Upstate/Western NY where it rarely gets hot enough to sweat through a glove (Syracuse Native speaking from experience)
  3. Gonna be honest when I say I'm surprised to read that. This made me think of those golf "unfair stigmas", most similar to the yellow golf ball (which I love but get needled for at my age). I personally do not wear mine putting, as I'm super handsy, so I take it off for short chips as well. I just like to feel my left hand on the club for those delicate shots
  4. This is my personal experience from testing them both, but keep in mind just my opinion. First, I found that the back bar added a touch of stability when compared to last year's model. If you were to pick up one or another solo, you likely wouldn't be able to tell, but I did some extensive testing with both and noticed that yes, the new model was marginally more stable. They are both great though. Second, and what ultimately resulted in me paying the extra $100 for the new model, was the true path alignment coming back on top. It's not that last year's was bad by any means, I just really, really prefer the contrast on top that the white v. black offered. I found it frames the ball so well. I draw three lines on top of my ball and it aligns perfectly (can post a picture later today of that) Again, do not think you can go wrong either way and that $100 discount absolutely makes last year's a great value for a new putter
  5. Twins! Only played 2 rounds with it, but one of the most stable putters I've owned
  6. Less of a question for you Johnny, but so cool to see the staying power of some of these older clubs, especially the putters. It speaks to a number of things, including how good the products are and the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" crowd
  7. Congrats everyone!! @MattWillGolf, talk about a GREAT way to kick off your retirement the next month or so! Let's go!
  8. I'd argue that more make the cut than not, maybe 11 to 7, but think only 3-4 will finish in the top 15. So let's say 7 won't make it, 4 in top 15
  9. Morning all, Nothing great to report today, got into the office early to get a presentation done. Now back to the regularly scheduled programming of semi-constantly taking a look at the new bag I've been dreaming of recently on google...
  10. Not saying they are the best quality you're ever going to find, but if value is a proposition the All-In-Motion from Target are a $30 short and $40 pant with a dri-fit like material. I've had one of the shorts pairs for 3 years now and they still work great. Just got another pair and a pair of pants for this year. https://www.target.com/p/men-s-golf-pants-all-in-motion/-/A-77602745?preselect=87229977#lnk=sametab When going high end I wear Lululemon, bonobos, also like the Cobra jackpot pants
  11. Just wondering if anyone has the Stitch SL2? Obviously seen a billion reviews but trust this forum. I live in NYC and while I do ride quite a bit, I have to walk a lot to Grand Central, ride the trains out to LI/Westchester, etc. Simply my current Sun Mountain (which has broke) feels big and I get tired walking around the city with it I do not carry a lot of stuff but also want to know if it will last over time, last on a cart, etc. Thanks all
  12. Motlëy Crüe, it's Masters week! Time to grind until Wednesday, because you all know that the stream will be all over my computer Thursday and Friday. Let's go!
  13. Morning Motlëy Crüe, Got into the office early today to get some shots up. Trust me, I know that I'm super spoiled to have a CEO that loves the game so much and built this Starting to think my fitted clubs are a little too upright as I've pretty much gotten rid of the slice that used to kill me and now hitting pull hooks, but that wasn't really my concern today. Just sipping a coffee and enjoying some peace before a busy Friday. Cheers
  14. As a fellow Cuse area native, let me give you an early congratulations on retirement Matt. Hopefully lots of low rounds in your near future.
  15. oooooo baby. *Insert Shaq dancing emoji here* this is so good. Tiebreakers - Cutline will be +2, Tiger score will be -1 As an aside, wondering if anyone found themselves biased against either the PGA Tour or LIV? I definitely did, with only 1 LIV guy on my big board
  16. So fun to watch Rose Zhang - if any don't know who she is I HIGHLY recommend you go check out No Laying Up's documentary about the Stanford Women's Golf Team. She and her teammates are world class golfers but seem like even cooler people. Must be so weird to be a normal kid on campus knowing you are anything but normal. She tore it up round 1 and expect to see more of the same the rest of the week,
  17. Morning to this motley crue Same in NYC today as most places, grey. I'm running the city marathon in November so I started Crossfit last week to get in better shape. My 5:30AM class today has me shaking at my desk. Coffee time i guess,=. Busy work week but might try to hit the simulator tonight if I can.
  18. I really appreciate you taking the time to take a look at that. Those look much better than ones I've received in the past. Also, how good does a fresh dozen always look...
  19. Thanks! Seems like several had the same thought. Now, for the OP! I play the Pro v1X, so to stick with red color pattern I do one singular red dot, to the top right of the last "t" in Titleist.
  20. Very much appreciate that! I agree I've never had an issue with the print quality, I think its great and crisp. I'll also be quick to admit I'm very particular when lining it up, much more than I should be, so it could easily be my mind playing games.
  21. Would love your thoughts, as I've tried the Align XL twice now and love the concept. That said I always have found at lease 2-4 of the balls in the dozen have crooked lines. They're just not straight and it really throws me off. As much as I hate a smudge, I've personally gone back to sharpie. Maybe my sample size was too small?
  22. Sunny and 60 in New York yesterday = first local round of the year at West Sayville on Long Island. Great day, but being right on the sound made it windyyy. Simple little 41-41 for an 82, with no doubles, just a lot of bogeys. Pretty much right in my wheelhouse. Honestly proud of that score as the offseason rust was REAL. Cold topped 2 tee shots and was dealing with a set of the pulls with my irons. As is the case with every single season, if I can get better feel with chipping, I truly think i can get down to a 5 at some point later this year. Consistently failing to get up and down by leaving myself 7-10 footers instead of 3-5 is a killer. Great day, great company, can't ask for more
  23. Bit the bullet and made the purchase. I hit the ball pretty typical distances, but definitely a low flight, low spin player. So I went for the ProV1x, with my initials and lucky #7... I was an athlete in college but was a double digit number and for some reason i dont like the look of two digits on the ball
