I also got another 18 holes in with the Hogan driver. It still does the rattle intermittently, but I talked to the customer service at BH and they sent me a return shipping label to check out the issue. I have immense confidence with this club each time I hit it. On two instances on short par 4’s yesterday (305 and 312) yards I nearly drove the green with just a short 20-30 yard pitch left in. I was even able to attack a par 5 in two which left an eagle putt which is something I haven’t been able to do much before... (of course then I three putted ). It has such a consistent ball flight with a nice high draw when hit well. This club can do it all even when I tee’d it low to hit a stinger into a stiff wind. Do you golf after rain? If so how much rain is too much? If not, why? I love golf and a wet course has never really bothered me but it might to some people. Its also supposed to rain 2 inches today and I am scheduled to play tomorrow and it got me thinking.

Appreciate it guys. I tried your suggestion and I didn’t hear it in the shaft. Interestingly I was on the N- setting and then changed it to the low setting and the rattling went away. May be something with the connector. I’m going to try the new setting the next time I play and see how it goes. If it’s fine I probably won’t worry about it lol Maybe I’m just overthinking things. @pozzit @03trdblack @JScott Do any of you guys experience a rattle like feeling/sound during your follow through. I noticed it last round and it continued today. It feels like something is moving around in the shaft. I can't recreate it except on the follow through of my swing. It doesn't seem to expect performance all the much but it has me concerned? Any ideas of what it might be/ a possible solution?

Using a rangefinder the last couple of weeks playing golf has made the game so much easier. I just point and click and immediately get a yardage. It makes choosing a club so much easier as I know the one in my hand is the right one with the distance.

Got another 9 holes in today with the driver. The first two holes I was fighting a draw/pull and missed the fairway left. Not the best start. After that on hole 3 I hit one 285 with a slight helping breeze into the middle of the fairway, and then the other three holes hit it 265, and 262 and 268 yards in the fairway. The thing just finds the middle of the fairway when a good swing is put on the ball.

To me, it seems like I am getting increased ball flight and carry. The course I played was wet saturday and i still averaged about 260ish off the tee. It is going to be interesting to see how it performs once the courses dry up and I can get some roll.

I absolutely love a pirformus stretch and butterfly stretch to open the hips up. Then alot of the light strengthening can come from basic core and hip exercises; such as a bridge or bent knee fall out. Look up lower trunk rotation which is also another good one to try.

The first time out, I wasn't swinging it all that well; so the performance was iffy. Yesterday I was just blown away. I couldn't believe how well I was hitting it. Look forward to hitting it again tomorrow.

Played 18 holes with the Ben Hogan driver today. Guys, No Joke, this was the best club in my bag today. I only missed two fairways averaging about 270-275 for driving average. This club was consistently straight and the ball flight was amazing. The feel was also very good and I could tell when I hit the center of the club face vs off center. Drive 275 into a good breeze is up there. I also hit a wedge up over the tree from 85 yards and stuck it to 5 ft, and then i missed the birdie putt. LOL

Yes! I do this exact same thing. I try to simulate that I am playing and then imagine a couple holes from the course to really get me focused. I feel I get bored if I hit the same club repeatedly and that's not how golf is really played.

Shot another 41 for 9 holes today. I was testing out the Ben Hogan driver with mixed results. Had some good looks at birdie but didn’t make any of them on 2 and 7. My putter was not my friend. I just did not feel good with it all day and it lead to a couple 3 putts.... Looks like a nice club. Played 9 holes with it this morning. Clubs looks solid in your hands but it definitely a slightly smaller profile compared 460 cc heads. It also felt slightly heavier to me than other drivers, but that might be due to the shaft. It has a good whack sound when it is hit and didn’t sound “tingy” or hollow at all. I hit a couple good ones about 270 yards on 2-3 holes, one was into the wind. I was spraying it a little all over the course, as I think I was just getting used to it. I usually hit a little draw but had a slight fade when hitting this club. I'll have to play with the adjustments and see how they affect ball flight. Excited to continue testing it. Totally Legit. I bought an Adams driver from them before and it must have broken in half during shipping. Gave them a call and they immediately sent out a new driver and told me to keep the broken one which I just re-shafted. Great customer service and prices!

Trying this beauty out today. Hope I hit it as good as it looks!!

Yes totally agree. I think sometimes playing golf with better players has you focus more and in turn improves your score/game. Fun is the most important thing though!
