  1. I'm 27 and I'm all about the cart, especially in the Texas Summer heat. It's a lot easier to play well when you're not fatigued from carrying. Plus it eliminates that aweful constant clacking of the irons as you walk....drives me bonkers
  2. Just going to leave this hear, lest we forget JT in this years tournament of champions...white pants = bad idea https://www.golfdigest.com/story/justin-thomas-questions-his-choice-of-white-pants-when-he-wrecks-them-with-mud-during-fridays-wet-second-round
  3. I'll echo that. I've rolled my left ankle more than once on damp driving ranges and my knees get sore when in trainers, for me it's not worth the long term damage. (Or the embarrassment in front of your buddies)
  4. How have they worn compared to the rest of your irons?
  5. Were you fit for both? Always possible it's a quick fix with your settings/specs.
  6. Gotta love a good find, my Driver, 3w and 3hy are all the result of a charity raffle. I most likely wouldn't have purchased Adam's, but they've been a pleasant surprise and I havent found anything new that justifies laying down 500+ bucks just yet.
  7. Free sleeve of balls if you take the fitting quiz over at Oncore today. Plus a few bucks for shipping. I've never hit these before, but for 4 bucks I'll certainly give them a rip.
  8. Now that you have a decent comparison, a lot of this depends on what you are looking to see on course. You are more consistent (standard deviation is lower) with the Z Star, likely from the lower spin rate. In my opinion if your ok with a little less stopping power, the Z star will be a good fit, however, If you prefer the higher spin and sacrifice some/moderate levels of consistency you can go with the XV. Hope that helps.
  9. After playing them for a day, I wouldn't doubt it. Sent from my SM-G973U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  10. Where do you order them? I've picked up the refreshed boxes from Academy and about a third of the balls have some sort of deformity or are already flaking. Sent from my SM-G973U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. I'll second the sound comments, I cant stand how they sound coming off the face. I also lost a good 10+ yards off the tee, otherwise they performed well around and on the green. Sent from my SM-G973U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  12. I picked up a box of these for $20 in an East Texas pro shop while on the road this weekend. I couldn't help myself because this was my favorite ball back when I was a junior. There was something about the name and the red-orange Callaway logo and Warbird emblazened on the cover that drew me to them then. Of course back then I needed the distance, and now I prefer something with a little more feel and workability. But I played a round with them for nostalgia sake, and I have to say I was a little disappointed. For the lack of spin I figured I might pick up a little more yardage but I couldn't tell much difference in the category. For those of you that used to hit this back in the day, am I just recalling the find memories of jr golf or was this ball never all that special. These certainly feel like the $20 I paid for them, which I suppose is the anticlimactic answer, I just hoped for a little more. Sent from my SM-G973U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
