Testers Wanted! deWiz Golf Swing Modifier

Boxes of Device copy.JPG

We're excited to announce a new testing opportunity for 2023, introducing the deWiz Golf Swing Modifier for our next MyGolfSpy Forum Member Test!

If you haven't heard of deWiz before, you're not alone. Here's a quick insight into what deWiz says about their product: "deWiz is a wearable piece of technology featuring a patented biofeedback system designed to help golfers swiftly and efficiently implement crucial swing changes. With over a dozen unique data points on each swing, deWiz employs 3D motion tracking to provide golfers with a crystal-clear understanding of their swing mechanics."

As the golf season winds down in various parts of the world, deWiz could potentially emerge as the perfect companion for those keen on refining their game during the off-season. What's more, this versatile device can be used both indoors and outdoors, with or without a club.

Recently, deWiz revealed its much-anticipated "On-Course Mode," which has earned the stamp of approval from the USGA. This feature means you can access the same insightful swing analysis whether you're in the comfort of your home office or competing for your Club Championship.

For many golfers, this time of the year offers an ideal window for making swing changes and taking lessons. With all that said, we're seeking four dedicated golfers to thoroughly test, review, and keep the deWiz Golf Swing Modifier. Priced at $599.99, it represents a significant investment. Is it worthy of a spot on golfers' wish lists for the upcoming holiday season? How well does it perform on the course and during practice at home? These are just some of the questions we aim to answer through the testing process.

Would love to have this for my son who is going into his senior year of high school to use for his winter season indoor lessons and practice as well as for myself. He will be a 4th year varsity player with hopes to play in college. Some of you guys got to play with him in Pinehurst.

I used one of these for about 5 minutes at a golf show a few months back I felt it was more tool than I could use at that time. It is an impressive device. I would like to get more time with it now that I have a better idea of where my swing issues lie, so that I could implement the feedback it provides.

I’m interested in anything that could improve my game. I have tried numerous devices over years of play. Hoping to take it to the next level.

deWiz Golf Swing Modifier, this would be a fantastic addition to yours or hopefully my bag of training aids!

Love to see what this device could do to improve my swing as I struggled with consistency mightily this season. It would be a big asset for my indoor practice sessions as well as my simulator league this winter.

I've had a a Dewiz for a while now and it's pretty great. I originally bought it for 1) fighting an over the top transition 2) dialing in partial wedges with the clock system.

It definitely helped with both of those. My transition quickly went from around +4" to right around a consistent +1" as you can see in the screenshot. Their distawedge feature is a really fun way to practice wedges with a launch monitor and dial in my wedge matrix. When I put the work in, my partial wedge distance control is much more reliable.

They've added a few features since I was frequently using it (shallowing/steepening, iddy, iddy). Those are a little harder to dial in for me. No matter what I try, I still steepen about 3-4°.

Good luck to the testers. I'm really curious to hear how the testers use those newer features and if anyone can figure out how to use it to improve shallowing.  Might motivate me to spend some more time with it this winter.

Oh, and their customer service is absolutely wonderful. Matt and Marcus definitely go out of their way to help.

Thanks for sharing!

Matt was awesome to chat with and really excited about this whole opportunity. I love seeing more tech in this space and will be interested to see what testers think especially compared to the general feedback HackMotion received. They are both systems that can really help, when someone knows how to put them to good use.

I had heard of DeWiz a while ago and it's definitely something that I was considering for the off-season. Would love to be a tester.
