My parents taught me to be gracious and I've tried very hard to live what they've taught. For that reason I'm writing this review of my MoM prize, a leather putter grip from MGS Sponsor Ace of Clubs. I selected the black purple alligator mid sized putter grip for my prize and it was shipped and arrived in a timely fashion. The website was easy to use, it was clear what was in or out of stock and I got exactly what I expected. The grip replaced a two year old well worn, too well actually, Black Widow mid size. I'm very pleased with how easy it was to install and how it looks on the putter. I haven't had a leather putter grip in sometime. I was surprised at how lightly I could grip my putter because it made the club seem very stable in my hands. I also received lots of positive feed back in the hour that I spent on the practice green this afternoon. I've been pulling the ball a bit with the putter lately but there was no sign of that on the practice green today. No pull meant very good pace! Overall I was happy with the performance enhancement that I received from the new grip. I will add to this review in a couple of weeks particularly after playing in a tournament next weekend and hopefully after a round in the rain. I putted well with it on Tuesday. 31 putts in a competitive round with no three putts is solid stuff. If I do that all the time my handicap drops beyond a doubt. I love the feel of the leather - very stable. Just wanted to give it a bit of a bump because Ace of Clubs is such a great sponsor and I've had this grip on my putter for a while now. I love the grip. My buddies think it's cool as well. The big test is coming as we move into another Florida Summer. I'll let you know how it goes.
