rvausmc
Hi guys, just picked up one of these to add to my collection, it's in great shape, but the finish is coming off, I guess similiar to the Callaway Tour Blues. They are titanium. What can be used to remove the finish other than bead/ sand blasting? or is that the only method. Ok, update I took some aerosol paint remover and sprayed on, let sit and it cleaned the putter perfectly. Now I just need to decide on paint fill. Jmikecpa
Curious of the answer since I have one of these at home as well. Been a while since I looked at it so not sure if mine has any finish issues but it would look stellar without the finish. WITB 2024 Driver: Qi10 LS 9* Ltd. rvausmc
I got a quote from a company, you can PM for details, but they said they could not torch, but would blast to remove finish and leave it silver or they can blast and paint. My thing is if it is a finish, I would think something like Tal-strip should be able to remove the finish. Obviously, sanding, but then I would have to leave face alone, and I don't think the two tone would look that great. I could to do it myself vs. sending it out. I've done a few Scotty's myself and have sent some away. Overall, I feel better when I can do the work myself, I guess a sense of pride from hard work..
