Tiger becoming a PrimaDonna?

While Woods is now on his way to Crown Casino where he will stay in luxury accommodation for the duration of his trip, fans are being warned if they heckle the philandering golfer over his bedroom antics they will be booted from Victoria Golf Club.

While golf fans are traditionally well behaved, hecklers tempted to unleash on Woods will be given just one warning before being shown the gate.

Crowds of up to 100,000 are expected over the five days of action at the Cheltenham sandbelt course.

Woods will tonight rub shoulders with spin king Shane Warne on a panel of speakers at a gala Masters dinner at Crown casino.

Woods, 34, will play in a pro-am event at Victoria tomorrow morning before launching his Masters defence early on Thursday.

The Woods entourage will again rule the roost at Crown Towers, where he entertained New York party girl Rachel Uchitel during last year's event.

An American newspaper photographer snapped Uchitel in the casino foyer, triggering a scandal that led to the emergence of a string of mistresses and a costly divorce.

Woods has been in indifferent form in recent months, losing his ranking as the world No. 1 and finishing sixth in the HSBC Champions event in Shanghai on Sunday.

"Overall, I felt like I've been hitting it well and it's just a matter of being patient," Woods said.

Victorian taxpayers are again chipping in half the bill for Woods' $3 million Melbourne appearance fee, with sponsors paying the rest.

Forecasters are predicting rain, thunderstorms and strong northerly wind over the weekend.

Bookies last night installed Woods $3.50 favourite ahead of Aussie Geoff Ogilvy ($6.50).

Woods will tee off at 7.27am on Thursday with Aussie star Robert Allenby and journeyman Brett Rumford.

It's only because they want Woods to keep coming back. If WOods is so "mentally tough", the heckling shouldn't bother him. If it does, all they're going to do is up the appearance fee and give the "please! please!" routine.

Pretty sad, though, that people can give anyone else the schtick (like Sergio at Bethpage), but Tiger is off-limits? That's not right, in my opinion.
