puttnfool
Spies, I will be in the Denver area (staying at a hotel near the airport) from June 12th to 16th. Hoping that someone wants to get together to play a round sometime, but the weekdays will probably be harder to work out. If not, please at least throw out some recommendations for where I should play. I don't mind traveling a little to get to a good course and I don't mind paying a little, but my game is in shambles now so I'd like to keep the cost relatively affordable. ... and go! invee123 1 Quote WITB: Taylormade SIM2 Max 9° w/ UST ProForce V2 5F3 @ 45" Callaway Epic Speed 4wd w/ AccuFLEX Evolution Reg Dynacraft Genesis 3 hybrid w/ Steelfiber i95r Srixon ZX5 4-6 and ZX7 7-GW w/ UST Recoil 95 F4 soft stepped once Cleveland RTX Zipcore 54/10 w/ Recoil 95 F4 shaft Cleveland RTX-4 58/03 w/ Recoil 95 F4 9i shaft Odyssey SL EXO Marxman Pondering: Nothing at the moment In the locker: Too much to list
srooch2
I just got back from there. I didn’t play this course but I’d say you gotta play commonground in Aurora, not too far from ya public and affordable. Watch some vids on it. puttnfool 1 Quote Ping G410 LST 10.5 w/ Fujikura Motore F3 60X Callaway X2 Hot 2 Deep 12.5* Adams XTD LSP 23* hybrid Aldila rogue black 85X Nike VR Pro II Blades 5-PW w/ Modus 120X Nike Wedges PXG Putter
invee123
If money is no worry and you're proactive enough to reserve a tee time as early in advance as you can then I would recommend trying to get onto Fossil Trace GC in Golden, CO (about 20min outside of Denver) Some other great tracks south of Denver would be Arrowhead GC, The Ridge at Castle Pines North, and Bear Dance. North of Denver I would recommend Colorado National and Thorncreek GC Lastly, Denver has a HUGE municipal offering, some better than others. If you want to put the effort in to get a tee time, City Park is such a cool course pretty close to downtown with awesome views of the skyline. puttnfool 1 Quote Rogue MAX LS 9° (set to +1°) Rogue Max 3W 15° Apex UW 19° p770 w/ Project X 6.5 (4-AW) Jaws Full-Toe Black 54° & 60° Spider GT 35" TP5x

I'm not sure I'd say "money is no worry," but I'm not too afraid to spend $120 for a good course. Any chance you're up to join me. Anywhere, not necessarily there. If you had asked me any other week I would have been able to I am closing on my first home this Friday and am spending all of my free time the following week packing boxes to move the 16th and 17th. I had completely forgotten this course in my initial recommendations, but Red Hawk Ridge isn't super expensive and has advanced booking with plenty of times and sub-$100 tee times+cart. Take a look!
