Garmin Watch - Normal or Big numbers mode?

Recommended Posts

Hi Spies,

Was playing a round the other day and one of my friends on the course asked me why do I using the normal screen on my Garmin S62 and not the big numbers. Haven't really play a round on the big numbers mode and was curious...who is using which setting and is there any pros and cons for using which ever mode?

I only tried the big numbers setting once on my S70. As I recall, I just had front, middle, back numbers and I lost the fairway layout which is a key feature that I liked on the Garmin over my old watch. I changed it back immediately.

I tried it for one hole. Then I changed it back. I prefer to see the map. I like to be able to tap on the map to get distances to hazards.

:taylormade-small: M6 clubs in the bag and a GARMIN Fenix 7 on the wrist!
