Brian A
So I had the opportunity to stock up on the previous gen AVX last Christmas and got 6 dozen reasonably priced. They’ve been in my basement and since I’m finally controlling the driver a bit more I’m not losing balls like I used to. Realistically how long will they be good for? I’ve seen anywhere from 5-15 years? I've used the same ball for multiple rounds, and sometimes I need a new ball 3 x in a round depending on how many bunkers or tree roots I hit into... I think I’ve played 27 holes max with one ball before losing them. storm319
If they are stored in a relatively climate controlled environment (no extremes for temp or humidity), you will lose them all long before performance suffers. Now instead of losing 4-5 balls a round it’s 1 or 2 Reading about how how you guys go this long without losing a ball gives me a bit of a imposter syndrome feeling lol I always lose at least 1 ball per round. Shoot yesterday I lost a ball that was hit in the middle of the fairway.. which really hurt my feeling considering I was NOT playing good yesterday. When I’m playing to keep score I typically play the Maxfli Tour X. When just getting a round in with friends or scrambling I play whatever I might find on the course or might find at the bottom of my bag.

Watch the ball land in the fairway. Grab a reference point, and it's..... just gone!
