PhilBees92
Hello, Tall golfer 6'6" and played baseball for years. Struggling with coming over the top and pulling the ball left. It's usually a good hit ball and goes straight but ends up left of where I am aiming. On miss hits I am hitting off the heel of the club. Any advice welcome or tips. ballhawk
In another thread I found a correction for shanks and in the process also found the over the top pulls fix, which may help you. By keeping my hands as close to my body on the down swing as possible, I started hitting it flush and straight. It's hard at least for me, to have my shoulder roll with the hands in close. When I chased or actually was overswinging, I was throwing my hands out at the ball and if I did make decent contact it was a pull. Hope this helpful...... Overspark07
I recently watched a video describing a similar scenario for a 6’4” guy. I found the explanation helpful in recognizing some patterns I was doing. PhilBees92
