  1. I had good fortune with the GWX 50 R today with a Rogue ST LS head. It’s all about tempo. If I get quick it’s a goner but easy with smooth transition and tempo. Will keep trying it. I think the PLB 40 L is too light for me to control on the course. If anyone wants to try it send me a message and make me an offer. I have it with a Callaway adapter and playing at 44.5”. I am happy to send it to someone who can use it.
  2. Date 05/21/2023 Course Name Eagle Creek Pines Gross Score 82 Course Handicap 10 Gross Strokes over/under par 10 Net Score to Par 0 Net Score 72 Net Birdies or better 0 Longest Drive 272
  3. Good morning, Spies! Looking forward to my first round in two weeks today, and hoping the time off somehow helps!??! Unlikely, but one can dream. We had tomahawk ribeye steaks last evening and dinner outside by the campfire. It was a glorious spring night, the kind you want to bottle and keep. I am waking up today grateful for that. Sending you all best wishes for greet days.
  4. I’m gaming the Otto-Phlex first time tomorrow! Wish me luck!!
  5. Thank you @KOG @Deepred@GolfSpy SAM @Popeye64and @azstu324 for the good input. I am trying to figure a way to test a TS3 and TS4 without spending $140 +/-apiece and was thinking of ordering them with the $10 Score shaft to save some coin. I have old clubs lying around and I suppose I could pull shafts and just buy the heads and build my own. I have built drivers no problem (which I can configure using movable weights in the heads), but worry about jacking up swing weight if I shaft irons myself. Maybe I should just get over my reticence and give it a whirl. Much appreciated.
  6. Can anyone share thoughts on the TT Score shafts used in the paks? Comparable at all to the PX LZ 6.0 shaft? I suspect not but worth asking Thank you in advance friends.
  7. Good morning Spies! Recovering from a very late night of too much fun with friends, waiting for the coffee to brew. We laughed a ton, and nobody got hurt! Success. It’s a beautiful sunny morning in Brown County, IN, our home away from home. Unfortunately, my good friend’s biggest flaw is that he is not a golfer (ha) so no golf for me today, but a round should be on tap for tomorrow! Wishing you all fantastic days!
  8. Huge thanks to @GolfSpy_APH @GolfSpy BOS, @GolfSpy TCB, @GolfSpy SAM, @GolfSpy_BNG, and @Golfspy_CG2 for all you do to make this the very best corner of the internet. Being a part of it daily is such a pleasure. So much excellent knowledge-building content and fun stuff can be found here, along with a group of very kind and generous people, thanks to you and your leadership. You are appreciated.
  9. I keep reading about these. I have lust in my heart for a combo TS3/TS4 set, and I haven’t even finished getting my second iron set reshafted yet and am likely getting my first set reshafted too (due to a faulty fitting). I don’t need another set of irons but … these and the Edels! Darnit. I need a chaperone. At least I am going to wait to hear the reviews. Maybe.!?!?
  10. Man I love the looks of those. Please give us a review @azstu324. I’m shocked that they look like that and their MPF is so high. If you find that they are as forgiving as their MPF score and workable, these will have to be a strong consideration for me in the future when I tire of my current new irons. (CHA in full effect.) Thank you for sharing the photos! And hope you love them.
  11. Man I love the look and concept of these irons. So much. Can’t wait to hear how they perform.
  12. Good morning Spies! Looking forward to a weekend after a nutty work week. Hope to get some golf in Sunday. Feeling grateful for this forum as always. I wish you all great days.
  13. Good morning, Spies! It's a gorgeous day in Central Indiana -- sunny and perfect spring weather with a high of 73 predicted. I am going to try to sneak out to the range, but likely no golf for me today. I'm jonesing b/c I have not played (other than range time) in over 8 days now. It's a springtime travesty! And with non-golfing out-of-town guests coming in this weekend, I may not play for a good while. Other than that, an annual physical this morning, then lots of work to do. Please go play and share your rounds with us here so those in my (minor) predicament can live vicariously through you! I wish you all excellent days.
  14. I’m a big fan of Callaway’s and Cobra’s, but I like them all.
  15. That's really neat. I hope he enjoyed his time in Indy. And yes, I understand that they play a near-D1 level of football there at Marian.
  16. Thank you for the kind words @fixyurdivot! I’m with @JFish350 on this. The fit was excellent for me, and the extra length at the wrist was totally fine and never a distraction. The glove just fits and works so well that you really do sortof forget about it and focus on the rest of your game.
  17. Agreed re Jellyfish. I only discovered them a couple years ago. Mad respect for what little Marian has done with their dominant football program and their thriving and beautiful school. But I have not been to a football game. I should! Why do you ask?
  18. My favorite 90’s slightly obscure pop band. Geniuses. And I am digging on the new Rival Sons. The tightest band I have ever seen live. I was fortunate to see them up close in a 3K person room in 21. Absolutely amazing. And my fave Rival Sons of all time:
  19. Good morning, Spies! I am up way too late/early because of final drafting of the Red Rooster Sussex glove review, which is now live and available for your reading pleasure. With that done, I just wanted to pop in here and post on 5/15 before @sirchunksalot, and now I am going to bed. Good night, Spies!
  20. My full review is posted! I think I probably sound like a fangirl in the review, but that's because the Sussex really wowed me. As I say in the review, the durability is what really surprised me. The performance also exceeded my high expectations. More to come with future updates. Thank you to MGS and @Red Rooster Golf for this wonderful opportunity!
  21. Good morning! Looking forward to a big day of assembling 4 adirondack chairs, a new gas grill, and a driver shaft/grip/adapter. Oh, and searching for a Mother's Day gift for my deserving wife. Fingers crossed I can get some range time in later this afternoon. Wish me luck! I hope you all have fantastic days.
  22. Ordered Project X LZ 6.0 shafts to put in the CB57s. It will be a minute before they are here and installed but very excited. I am kinda bummed that I likely have the wrong shafts in my 223s (KBS Tour Lite). I may have to swap those too. That will teach me to pay for puring, I guess.
