L.A.B. Offers 30+ alignment aids, but I kept coming back to 2-3 designs. Then we found out that L.A.B. Also has the option for you to combine designs.  So our photo editing wizard, @jbern combined a few designs for us.  So I liked the simplicity of the T, (C), but kept coming back to the arrow (EE).  When combined (EE+C), I really liked how it looked and helps you focus.  On course it works very well. Make sure you do their online fitting to get correct length and lie angle.  I  hope that helps.

There's light at the end of the tunnel! Seven indoor sessions complete with each putter. That's 378 putts of data finished, 162 more putts to go, and then the indoor testing is complete.
Today, I did one session with each putter, and trends continued. After some early volatility, the Edel has settled in to scoring right around 70 (out of a possible 100) in three straight sessions: 70.6, 69.1, and 70.5. In fact, if you toss out it's highest session (75.8) and it's lowest (60.5), all of the other five sessions range from 69.1 to 71.9.
The Midlock as well putt up a score right around its typical performance. Today's number was 78.5; it's seven-session average is 77.1.
The L.A.B. surprised me today. I did its session after lunch, and to be honest, it was frustrating. I think I made no more than 2 or 3 putts out of the 18 on ExPutt, and everything just felt off. Imagine my surprise, then, when I punched the numbers into my spreadsheet and found that it was the DF3's best score so far: a 78.2.

For the graph: ignore the big uptick at the end: those point to perfect scores for sessions I haven't done yet.
At least right now, the DF3 continues to see a steady increase in performance over the seven sessions.
I have enjoyed the discussion in this thread as to the pros and cons of adjusting to a club versus having the club fitted to your current tendencies. In the short term, obviously, the answer is to get a club that gets the best performance out of your current technique.
If I went in for a brand agnostic putter fitting, and the fitter kept telling me, "I know this club doesn't work well for you here in this fitting, but it you work with it, it will," I'd say he's missed the point of the fitting; he's just become a sales guy.
But I think there are clubs that, being quite different from others, offer something that could reward investment of effort and even change of technique. I think here, for instance, of the old SLDR driver: if you could increase your precision in hitting the sweet spot, in its day, it could produce longer drives than almost anything else. I think the AutoFlex testers are also dealing with this: the AutoFlex seems to reward a very specific kind of tempo/transition, and if you can find it, it seems to produce results quite unlike almost any other shaft on the market.
I think there are good reasons to think of L.A.B.'s technology in much the same way. Given what I've seen in their demos and with the putter in my hand, the L.A.B. balancing does something that others putters simply don't do. If you can adjust to it, it has the potential to create the most consistent version of you as a putter. But it's going to be up to the golfer whether it's worth plowing through that adjustment.
For my part: the early positive on-course results are definitely encouraging me to stay with it. I have another 9-hole league round tonight; I'll update when I have the Arccos numbers added to my data.

Great write-up @Cfhandyman - looks like the LAB Rat started off strong.  Did you need to do any prep / practice ahead of time in terms of getting used to the stroke (such as the "thumbs off" drill)?
I've got a couple rounds planned in a couple days, but hoping to get some putting green time between now and then so I'm not starting off cold.
PS - no sight of FedEx yet

👍  Just remember,  the ball pretty much goes where the face points at impact.  You don't need to force putter rotation or a putter arc...You stand pretty close to the ball so there won't be a lot.   With the DF3, they will tell you very light grip pressure and basically just move the putter back and forward.
I don't personally like the training aid but the video give a good explanation of moving the putter and arcing.  If yo notice the device attached to the putter stays flat on the board.....meaning you don't rotate your hands at all!

I hate you! 😂 I am looking to get the DF3 in orange. I will embrace the goldfish because of Ted Lasso. It is an attitude that is especially important when it comes to putting.

As part of the process, all the testers have submitted their fitting videos and we are awaiting our results.  The process is as follows:
Remote online fitting –   L.A.B. requires you to send in a very short video of 5-10 seconds recording you in your golf shoes, making a putt with a vertical wall or door jamb in the background.  They will also require your height as well as length of your current putter from the centre of the putter face to the end of the grip. I have included my 5 second clip.

LAB putter fit - short Trim.mp4     Send in your video to L.A.B. and they will use their video fitting software to analyze your stroke and calculate your ideal length and lie angle. They will then send you an email confirming your specifications.  https://labgolf.com/pages/remote-fitting
Now the fun begins, selecting from the various colour options, alignment aids, shaft, grip, etc.  To follow.

Second round (well, 9 holes) with the 1.1 ball from my Tour B RX dozen.  It survived!   Previously, I played 18 with this ball over the weekend and it went well.  A few scuffs from the first round, and I think MGS would say toss it, but we have developed a relationship.  We might start taking selfies.
Tuesday was my league night.  Nine holes on my home course, lift and place, generally an easy round.  That said, it was the best round (9 holes) of the year for me.  I was three strokes below my league index.  Championship!
Again, I have been taking lessons, and working on my game, so I can't give all credit to the Mind Set balls.
That said, I like the process.  To review:
Picking a target seems obvious, but it's not.  Take your time, pick a target.
Visualizing is the hardest part.  Not sure how we do that.  Any tips?  Eyes closed?  Picture the swing?  Picture the result?  First person?  Third person?  Gah!
And focusing on the green dot:  not always visible.  But pick a spot and concentrate on that.  Quiets the cacophony in your head.  It really seems to work.  Best part of this ball.
Again, another green dot etc. to visualize on the ball would help.
Someone asked if we use the Mind Set logo for an alignment aid.  I don't.  I am not an alignment aid kind of guy.  I view putting as more of an art more than a science.
That said, so far, I am a believer.  Still on ball 1.1, so we will see.  I have been a student of 'ready golf' and playing fast, so taking a minute to slow down has been helpful.  Looking forward to holes 28-46 with ball 1.1 this weekend.
I don't really have any notes on the balls distance, spin, etc., I am more interested in the Mind Set (tm) system.
    On to Cincinatti.

The Tour BX is a closer profile to the V1X-Left Dash. Their ball selector tool woulda have put me in the wrong profile as well. The Tour BX I have is as long as the V1X Left dash I play, negligibly different vs quality of strike.

    Follow Up Review:
My initial impression after three rounds with the Tour B X balls is a solid thumbs up!  I like the feel and distance I am getting off the tee and feel off my putter is very good too.  I was initially a little skeptical about these balls but I’ve grown to like them.  The markings on the ball do not bother me on the tee or on the green, but they seem a little distracting in the fairway or in positions where you cannot move your ball.  The Tour B X ball seems a bit more durable than the ProV1 and that’s a plus too. The price point is fair and has me considering changing from the more expensive ProV1 that I’ve been playing for years.  I intend on grabbing a few more sleeves of these to continue my consideration to a change.  So overall I would give these balls a solid thumbs up and would recommend to a friend!

Got my RX bridgestone's and love them.  They feel great off the driver.  The spin is similar to an AVX.  I'm liking the alignment eye.  My course now has sanded greens so hard to tell about putting and chipping.  They definitely go farther off the my PXG gen5 0311.  They have a similar color to the old pro v1.  The cover has hit a couple of cart paths and is still looking great.  So far so good.  So glad I got these balls.  Thank you.

Do you think it is the ball or the concept in general. Meaning, see the shot, feel the movement to hit the shot, step in and execute.
