  1. Took my Dad's putter to get it re-gripped and lengthened a bit. Not a big purchase but it made a big difference! He's draining every putt he looks at!
  2. That's probably what it was because it was new. Good to know!
  3. Turns out the red stripes were a sticker... Haha, I saw one on eBay a few weeks ago and had no idea.
  4. So it was the NOS? Man, thought I was right on that one haha. I guess it's Simi to now where they can make it without the graphics for the pros. Nicely done, @Bucky CC!
  5. If we're splitting hairs, I think Daly technically used the version that wasn't a NOS. The NOS had red stripes to my knowledge. I could be wrong though, but I thought it was just the Jumbo Ultramid.
  6. I think it's right handed apparel, sorry man. Haha, beat me by a millisecond, nicely done!
  7. I haven't tested them yet, but I was invited to Bridgestone's HQ to test a new ball on site with them. I'm going July 5th and get to hit a new ball and give them feedback. I've been invited twice before and couldn't make it work but I finally get to do it! Apparently I get a free hat and a dozen balls for coming out, should be a really cool experience! Played Bridgestone exclusively before switching to Snell and then Maxfli after doing the testing here. Might be time to try them out again.
  8. Loved Tom and Jerry as a kid, and Chunks lives kinda close by so that's my team!
  9. Really considering the new Garmin Approach S70, love the reported accuracy of it and the health features. $700 is steep but having to monitor my heart rate and other metrics because of my heart issue is aggravating sometimes and this will do a lot of it for me along with being a good golf watch. I have the SkyCaddie LX5 that I tested for MGS but it doesn't so nearly what the Garmin says it can. Hmmm...
  10. Just so everyone knows, I'm now officially employed by Edison Wedges and would love to help you any way I can. I'm a forum member first and will not use the forum as an advertising space so this is the only place I'll post it. If you ever have any questions about how they work or anything at all, please don't hesitate to reach out.
  11. Heck yeah man, glad to see you picked as a tester. GATA! We should link up and get a round in one day soon.
  12. Got my bag tag/tour card today! Now if I can just get back out to play and show it off!
  13. Thank you! I don't wanna hijack the thread but if you shoot me a message I'll get some details and hopefully get ya hitting better out of the sand. In my three rounds with these I've only had one sand shot and it was kinda wet so I popped out pretty easily, still waiting to try them in fluffier bunkers.
  14. Thanks! And definitely, I've been playing Terry's wedges since 2012. Had SCOR, Hogan, then original Edison, now Edison 2.0 haha. I equate the magic in them to the magic in LAB putters, they just flat out do what they're supposed to and make it easy to do so.
  15. Good morning everyone! Been a little absent lately, spending a lot of my free time getting a jumpstart on my new job while still working at my old one. I am transitioning fully this week though, so I'll be getting my free time back! I'm officially back in the golf industry with Edison Golf and I'm beyond excited! I get to spend each day talking golf on the phone with people and helping them with their short game. Hard to beat that!
  16. Wow, no idea what's going on there. Seems like it wants to turn on but doesn't have enough juice and the power cycling is keeping it from charging. May have to reach out to SkyCaddie for an answer on that one, but holding that power button down is supposed to force a soft reset even if it's power cycling.
  17. Finally, we're getting closer to really kicking this thing off!
  18. Can't see the video, says it's private. But have you tried holding down the power button for like 10 seconds? That's supposed to soft reset it, I had to do it to mine recently.
  19. Cut Number? +3 and better make the cut. High Score? 87
  20. Always awesome to see new testers! Congrats to those selected, such a cool opportunity!
  21. Ugh, had another close call on Saturday. Third time I've watched one lip out, this time I hit the ball just past the hole and spun it back. It was tracking perfectly but had too much pace and lipped out. Ended up a few feet away but it was a close one. I've got the stick once, took a chunk out of the cup, and now these three lip outs. It has to be coming eventually!
  22. Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I was able to get out with my dad on Saturday and had a blast. Almost had that elusive first hole-in-one and also hit some big drives like I used to. Been playing with ball position and tee height and I think I'm onto something. Anyway, here's to a great week! 4 more weeks until my vacation!
  23. Had my first round with the new Link.1 today and I'm so glad they created this putter. I loved my DF 2.1 and never thought I'd change from it, but having that technology in a shape and size I've used my whole life is a game changer. I've never been one to miss on the heel or toe with a putter, but my big issue was the putter twisting and becoming open or closed at impact. That's absolutely been solved by LAB and hasn't happened once since I made the switch. But the big thing for me with this one is the improved feel. The Link with the upgraded ACCRA shaft is perfect. And it doesn't hurt that the putter fits in my bag a little better, haha.
