      That's a cool summer evening here. If I didn't play in those conditions I'd have to take the summer off. So I don't drink the night before golf, tee off later in the day, over hydrate, stay in the shade and sadly ride.

    Course ratings are so weird. I played one in my area that is only 71.6 and its definitely one of the more difficult around here. Very strange

      Agreed although 71.6 is well above average difficulty. So I went on a quest to determine how they were figured. It could be that this course is maintained signifanctly differently from when the rating was assigned. Trees may have grown or been added, rough is kept higher, etc.

    Spent this afternoon in a Golf----- checking out the equpiment. Can't afford to buy a bag of tees, so all we can do is dream. Used to do this in sporting goods stores when I was 12 , too. Now I'm 54. Nothing was really changed. All this great stuff and no money to buy it.

    If you lie about your golfing ability or cheat at golf, it shows a lot about you as a person and your character flaws.

      I used to think this but I have a friend who's the greatest guy in the world except when it comes to golf. Maybe he gets all the bad out of him through lying about his game, cheating and generally being a jerk to play with. Of course he is the exception to the rule though.

      I'm in such a world of hurt with one of my fantasy teams that I had to play Forte last night. Why they couldn't of fallen down on the 1 and let him run it in after those interceptions is beyond me.

    Dreaming what I'll do with the grand prize: a really low lofted driver for windy days, 2 and 4 wood, 2 and 3 hybird, 3-4 HL4, 5-PW MP59, 50-55-60 wedges, new putter... I can dream :D

      What will be will be guys. No sense to be sleepless over something like this. Three very nice prizes - I'm messed up and I've got 101 words in my entry so I get to sweat that out. And I have over 100 votes in the voting. No big deal - already a winner just by being a part of this community.
