Played my second 18 hole round this year with my brother. I shot 39 both sides for a 78 total. It's amazing what giving up the ego will do for your game. I can't drive the ball 270 anymore. I can't hit my 7 iron 265 anymore. I just gave in and took more club than I'm used to taking. It is working out... so far. I seriously struggled with my ego and loss of distance the last two years.... especially last year. This year, I decided to table all that BS and just do what I need to do to get it there. It isn't that bad when you realize we all will get old/er and concessions will need to be made. I will be in the market for new irons next year, as I don't have the swing speed for the MP 64's anymore.

Any putter that avoids 3 putts.

In the short term, no. If LIV wants to have it's players be able to compete in Majors, It will have to change in the future. Maybe LIV just doesn't care.... but I would bet the players do.

Scotty will fall at some point.... like all the rest do/have. He's having an incredible run right now but, it won't last. Ask Tiger, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, etc.... I like Scotty for many reasons.... I just don't drink the koolaid when it comes to golf.

Golf is an equal opportunity hater. Scotty is on top 'now'... just like DJ, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth were some time ago. No one is immune to it. Someone else will have his time as the 'golden boy' after Scotty. It's a vicious cycle.

I have a 320 lb. buddy that would vehemently disagree with you. I don't think he leaves his house without some kind of camo on him.

I got out with my brother this afternoon for 9 holes. I shot +3 for a 37 on the front nine. Not bad for only the third time out. Not to worry.... it will get worse with more time out.

I'll be rooting for Jason Day. He probably has no chance, but I always root for him. As far as who will win: I have no idea. Golf is an equal opportunity hater. It spreads the wealth around... even when your playing your best.

I have the opposite problem. I have a pin head. Every hat I wear has to be adjusted to almost as small as it will go. It looks ridiculous. Therefore, I dislike hats. Unfortunately, I'm follically challenged so, going hatless on a golf course is a no no. Those of you with 'normal' size noggins are blessed.

I don't care one way or the other. Personally, I don't bother with it. It's just another thing to have to contend with.... changing stations/skipping songs because you don't like what's playing, up down the volume, etc.... I'd much rather just concentrate on screwing up the round without help. If music bothers you so much that you can't play because of it.... maybe you should take up Tennis.... they frown on any outside noise as much as golfers do.

My dad always told me.... blow on it, rub some dirt on it and go play.

Just plain, natural wood tees. I bought a bad of 500 that I've been using for the last 3 years.
