I would think in the interest of time, you could play multiple balls at once, but each would have to be played on it's own.  No scramble situation or muligans.
Since you can pick up any time after a bad shot though, you could sit on the tee box on par 3's and keep hitting until you get one close.

Once you birdie a hole though you don't have to play it anymore, so would be end up being more time per hole on the tougher ones.

Can't believe it's been 6 months since we started this testing!  I'm still going strong, about 3/4 through my 3rd program.  This one has been a grind.  I was having some bad enough shoulder pain that I went in to the doctor.  Had an MRI and no tears, some fluid where it wasn't supposed to be and some arthritis, but after two attempts at cortizone shots I'm pain free again.  This has been a lingering pain since before I started Stack, so I don't believe speed training caused this at all.  i continued Stack through all of that but you can see my progress suffered.  it was an absolute grind in the middle there, but it sure it fun again now!  Just hit a new PR on the 195g today.  130mph here I come!!

I saw this also via golf twitter/instagram.  There are a few rules with more details.  Just apply it to your home course and normal tee's so we don't have to worry about things like length/rating/slope.  You can pick the days and times so you also can play in decent weather.
You have the whole course to yourself You can play in any order and play the hole as many times as you want in the time allowed You don't have to finish the hole if you hit a bad one. i.e. shank one just pick up and start over The 24 hours is split in to 6 x 4 hour sessions so fatigue isn't an issue No mulligans It's a very interesting question, at first glance it does seem doable.  However, the more I think about it and how often I actually birdie certain holes at my course, it may be harder than I think.

As a group we buy/sell/trade a lot of gear on a regular basis, time to show it off.  So what have you bought lately?

I picked up a Carnahan St. John's putter in the bargain bin at 2ndSwing for $8.  Took it home and reshafted/gripped it and put in some new paintfill.

Next up is the possible replacement for my SLDR.  I really wanted it to be a G30 LS, but the numbers just weren't there.  So hit this bad boy and spin dropped almost 900rpm and ball flight straightened out.  I'll have to get it on the course for a side by side comparison before I determine if it makes a spot in the bag.

I'm in the same boat (and also in MN!)  I bought my first Melin hat last year and it changed my life.  I now have stacks of old hats I'll never wear again.  And for some reason they are still sitting there 🙂
I went A-game in the XL size and for the first time ever I have all but 2 of the snaps attached!  I've had it for almost a year and it still looks brand new.  I want to buy more, but at $70 a pop I haven't done it yet.
I also had semi good luck with specifically a 110 flexfit snap back.  I can get 3 snaps closed on those and since it's flexfit and snapback it's fairly comfortable.  The one I got last year was Callaway branded.  It was the best thing I found on a "regular" hat until I tried Melin.
I know Titleist does make an XL/XXL in it's fitted hats, but they are harder to find.  I've personally never tried one, but it's on my radar if I ever run in to one.
New this year Taylormade is offering all (or most?) of their hats in a bigger XL size.  Dan Rappaport announced it last year on the Foreplay podcast.  I haven't tried any yet but I'm hopeful they may fit better.
I had been eyeing Mammoth for a while, I always get their ads on instagram.  But if their cost is 60-65 I think I'll just stick with Melin when I feel like splurging.  Everyone bags on Melin for their cost, but if you are member of the big head club and finally find something that fits right and looks good it's worth every penny.
FWIW on most normal snapbacks I'm also a 2 snaps if I'm lucky, 1 snap if I'm not on the fit.  Most look like I'm trying to squeeze into a size schmedium.

I have not noticed any adverse effects for my swing yet.  I've only got 4 rounds in this spring (but yay 4 rounds already in MN!!) and ball striking has not be negatively effected.  I'm on my 3rd program with The Stack system and have gained 11mph through the first 2 programs.

Technically you don't have to, but it would be like taking a test and never knowing if your answers were actually correct?  It would be very hard to tell if you are actually faster without the immediate feedback from a swing speed monitor.  For instance there are many times it feels like I am swinging out of my shoes, but it will actually be a few MPH slower than a smoother swing.
Also depending on the swing speed tool you are using it may or may not work.  I can't see using The Stack without a measurement device.  Haven't ever tried Rypstick so not sure what that is tracking.  Superspeed you could do the protocols without a device, but again you would have no way to see if you are actually faster or not.

Is anyone else in the same club I'm in where it's tough to find hats due to your large noggin? If so, what brands have you found that work for you?
I have a ton of hats at home but unfortunately they don't fit right so I never wear them. I recently did buy a hat from Mammoth Headwear and that hat fits great that it got me excited to find more hats, especially with summer golf coming up.
I've also seen Melin has XL sizing on select hats so I'll probably get a few from them in the future as well.

"Durable Pearl Nickel Chrome anti-glare finish protects the club head and enhances feel"
From the specs the above is listed.
Clean them and wipe them down and you should be good to go, no special treatment needed.  Typically only raw irons or wedges will rust.  A chrome finish shouldn't.
I also wouldn't be hugely concerned with protecting your investment.  Yes, take care of your clubs.  You want them to last for the length that you choose to use them.  However don't look at them as a financial investment.  They aren't worth much used no matter how well you take care of them.

I used to come only for the forum and only occasionally check out the blog.  Over the past year it's really switched to a 50/50 split so thank you guys for creating meaningful content that's a joy to read and learn from.
And thanks for popping in the forum, feels like it's been a while since anyone other than Barba has been in from the main page side of things 🙂

Sorry man, I made an assumption and as usual made an @ss out of myself 🙂  Sounds like for many of us you have the dream job 🙂
I would really look at it based on irons.  Would you rather play Cobra or Srixon irons?  For me Srixon wins that battle, but I don't really think there is a wrong answer.  From the sounds of it if you go Cobra you are probably looking at irons and top end of the bag?  If you go Srixon it's irons and wedges?  So you just have to ask would you rather have freedom to experiment with the top end, or bottom end of the bag?  Or another way to ask, would you rather have to buy your own driver, or your own wedges?
This sounds like a fun problem to have, best of luck on your decision!

Been a while since I've been able to participate in this thread, but due to some swing speed gains from The Stack system it was time for some upgrades.  Went from from S to X in the driver shaft and got a new Ventus black for the driver.
Then I also wanted to swap iron shafts, and it just seemed like a perfect excuse for new heads too.  Found a great deal on some Srixon ZX 5's and went with the Modus 3 125 shafts I play now but in X flex.  Topped them off with some PURE grips and BB&F ferrules.
