OK, it's not morning, but it will be in a few hours, so... Good Morning everyone!! Hope your Friday went well and have great plans for the weekend. I haven't been on much the last couple of days; the Forum testing requires more time than most people wanting to do testing realize!! The Autoflex Dream 7 driver shaft arrived and I've installed it in my Callaway Epic Max head. However, my wife and I are headed to Spokane after our 7:15am round of golf in the morning, and I won't get to use it again until Monday. We are attending an induction ceremony for my sister-in-law's golf team into her high school Hall of Fame. My wife wanted to be there even though it will be posthumously for her sister. Sadly, she passed away 5 years ago. @Mrsbell89 Welcome to the Forum and the most informative thread on the lives of critters that reside here.

My wife and I have a 7:15am tee time tomorrow, and I'm taking the Autoflex for a spin. Not sure what to expect and I'm NOT taking any other driver with me. Let's see where it puts me! Oh yeah, it could rain! Unfortunately, this is the only opportunity for me to get out on the course this weekend. We are headed to Spokane and golf is not on the radar. Next week looks like much better weather, but the winds are back. Stay tuned!

Mine arrived at 6pm last night; got it cut down to 46" and a C9 swingweight with my Pure Pro midsize grip.

Interesting. I may have to evaluate the conditions at Kingsmill later this month. It likely makes a difference depending on how dirty the ball is, how fast/slow the green speed and how bumpy the greens are, and whether or not you die the ball in the hole. I clean dirt off, but if the ball is clean except for a slight grass stain, I might not. Our greens are relatively smooth and fast, typically 11-12 stimp and I'm rolling the ball past the hole.

I hope there is a DSG nearby in case we need to make a ballrun

Good Morning everyone! Hope y'all have a thrilling Thursday! I know I will. Happy Birthday @Michael.Sandoval33!! 43º with a little sun coming up; not much wind which is very unusual. It's been quite windy over the last week. Might get to 70º... might not. Since I haven't picked up a club in several days, I think I'll visit the course for some much needed practice. I haven't been on this thread for a couple of days; well, the Forum in general... worked on getting my Introduction completed for the Autoflex driver shaft review; the shaft arrives today via UPS. As I mention in the Intro, my wife will help provide a review, since she falls on the lower end of the Autoflex SF 305X shaft swing speed recommendation 70-85mph. Sorry, I don't Google. Invasive b@stards! I am currently wearing New Balance spiked shoes in two flavors... black and white depending on my "outfit". I also wear a pair of True Linkswear spikeless shoes when I walk the course.

Congrats on the retirement!! It's all it's cracked up to be... unfortunately I'm still cracking up 9 years later. Oh yeah, don't even think about sleeping in; I used to wake up at 5am to go to work, and I still wake up then, plus or minus 15 minutes, without a clock.

Well, the shaft spent 26 hours at UPS in Salt Lake City, but it’s on the move again!!

Mine is scheduled to arrive on Thursday. It left Colorado early this morning and should pass through town here tonight on it’s way to Spokane 150 miles away, where it will sit until tomorrow; then it will come back here, but too late to be delivered… so Thursday it is… maybe… after all it is UPS!

I read that the medical tape used to wrap ankles works with a little soapy water. I ordered a couple of UltraLite grips to try. One standard Jumbo and one Medium to see if works. I have LOTS of medical tape!!

Good Morning everyone!! Happy Monday! Enjoy! The wind yesterday was brutal and not much sun; I was chilled to the bone, actually shivering riding in the cart. Walked a few holes just to try and get warm. It was slow on the front nine; then jumped past a group when the made the turn and it was much quicker after that. Shot 79… 43/36. Birdied the par 5 #9 hole after a poor drive… #1 handicap hole; that doesn’t happen like ever!! After yesterday’s round in the wind, we were too tired to mow the lawn. Now it looks like we might get some rain this morning. Maybe I’ll mow… maybe not. Off to cardiac rehab in an hour.

Good Morning everyone!! Another breezy 20-30mph, mostly cloudy day here, temp around 60º at tee off. Back to our usual course this morning, which surprisingly has a lower rating and slope, but I find it more difficult to play and I play here all the time. Yesterday was interesting to say the least as we played a course we haven’t played in about a year. A desert-style course where being off the fairways is… well, not good. I managed an 81 with two doubles, which I’m happy with. Played with a father/son; son’s first time out on the course. Even though they played a scramble, it was slow but there was no where to go; two 4-somes in front of us that were backing up all of us and no marshal. Dinner afterwards with a couple of “pain killers” (my wife’s new favorite drink… look it up) helped her attitude! I stuck with a nice Irish Stout! Have a super Sunday and best wishes for a great round of golf!!

Good Morning everyone!! Cooler today with winds 15-30mph and we are playing the other course in town because ours has a big tournament today. This course is a desert course and I know that I don’t want to be in the desert!! Good luck with that!! @ZoonORama Sorry about your loss. Prayers going out for you and your family. I went through this loss a couple of years ago; it’s a difficult time. @Preeway Glad you are OK; hope that all in the path of these storms are safe. I’ve been watching the weather reports and the tornados seem bad this year. My wife is a little anxious because in less than a month we are driving across the country to the MGS Outing in VA. I’ve worked in the midwest and have been around tornados and T-storms, but my wife hasn’t. @BORDO and @ZachN97 Welcome to the forums and the most entertaining thread!!

The Arccos data has no relevance to my game; 46% fairways hit for a 10 handicap??… as a 10 I already hit more than 75%. The impact of missing fairways is directly related to the severity of the miss and distance from the green. Since I don’t hit the ball as far as I would like, I miss a lot of greens. So, missing a fairway and assuming not a horrible lie, I’m likely to miss the green anyway so no big deal. I don’t 3-putt very often, usually less than one per round, but I play the same course almost exclusively so I know the greens pretty well. Since I don’t get on many GIR, my score depends on getting up and down. Bad chips or 3-putts are killers for my score, and turning a rare birdie chance into a bogey is absolutely devastating!!
