  1. @Vegan_Golfer_PNW not sure why you’re so confused here. I’m not advertising my local shop. They are a Top 100 Ping fitter in the country. 100% legit Meaning Ping stuff will be going on sale EVERYWHERE tomorrow
  2. Nope. They don’t have an online store. They sent the email towards the end of the day so I’m guessing the sale goes live tomorrow, September 1st
  3. Just received this in an email from my local shop! Price drop is live in the US as of 9/1!
  4. You can order a custom Evnroll with an alignment aide of your choosing or no dot ($500) The new Ping Anser Milled (the black one) comes stock with no alignment aide. Any ping customer order putter (around $1000) can be ordered with an alignment aide of your choosing
  5. True Spec will not upsell you is right, especially if you tell the fitter your budget and your intention to try as many “no up charge” shafts as possible
  6. Looking forward to see how you like them and watching the finish change
  7. Hard agree here. NLU made some great points for it on their podcast regarding rotating the tour championship much like the Super Bowl.

  9. I believe there are instructions on the website.
  10. Favorite I’ve Ever Played: Pine Valley Not just because of the prestige. The course design is incredible. Every hole truly feels unique without being gimmicky. I played it once in 2018 and once in 2019 and I can still remember practically every shot from both rounds. It’s fun, challenging and fair. It more than lives up to the height Favorite Public Course Near Me: The Course at Glen Mills Elevation changes, great conditions and some absolutely beautiful holes and scenery (especially in the fall). A very fair course that can really beat you up if you get too aggressive and put yourself in some bad spots; especially around the greens
  11. Range balls tend to roll up the face, so you’ll see higher launch and less spin than you’d usually see
  12. Awesome dude! I really need to get back into it this offseason!

The thing I’ve taken the longest to get used to is just how much spin the ball has on it. Routinely came up short in my first round because the ball checked up more than I thought it would!

I think if you got it around the green for an hour or so you would be surprised with the versatility. I’m one that is always manipulating my stance and deliver around the greens and it is so fun to experiment with
  15. Yup. Mowing that way makes it so the grass grows more vertically and creates a healthier grass plant
  16. Titleist prov1 line, Bridgestone tour B line and Callaway chrome soft lines are the only golf balls that I know of that are manufactured in the US
  17. Mix it up. It’s better for the grass to constantly changing the direction you’re mowing.
  18. @Middler They haven't been announced in the US yet
  19. I am not a big spikeless guy, but I bought a pair of the new Adidas Code Chaos shoes for my range shoes and my god they are so comfortable. Might have to give them a try on the course.
  20. Love Ian, and I think Mac is a good dude, but the chemistry between Matt and Ian is what drew me in and what I miss most. It was like watching a sports game where the two announcers are just perfectly in-sync and play off each other seamlessly (Summerall and Madden). I still watch TXG content from time to time, but it isn't appointment viewing like it used to be for me. I think having been fit at True Spec and having a full set of fully fitted clubs plays into my lesser appetite for their content as well. In a few years when I am preparing for my next full bag fitting, I am sure I will dive back in to get back up to speed on the latest and greatest
  21. When I’m 40 in two years I’ll be going for my next full bag fitting and I don’t intend to have any steel shafts in my fitting selection.
  22. I think this is one of those holes that you simply don't attack unless you are forced to get a certain score in a tournament of match play. This is one of those holes that tells you exactly what to do and how to do it. it is a test of restraint. You take your par and you go to the next hole.
  23. Not looking to make any upgrades, but always love seeing the next generation of my current gamers. They are gorgeous.
  24. Just checked out their website. Do the Swiss really call putters "Rackets"? Or is that a translation issue?
  25. SeeMore was doing a lot in terms of marketing in the mid 2010s. They were a major sponsor on the THP forums. Definitely seems like they've scaled their marketing back over the last few years.
