I think that could play a part in the perception. You would be in essence looking behind the ball. There certainly could be something to that. I know there is for me and my placement as well as how I see putts or setup for putts.

An early start for me today. 4:30am alarm went off. Got a coffee and some breakfast before getting a few emails done. Tool two of the dogs for a quick spin around the field and then off to real work where we have our biggest event of the season. 5 Olympic teams and several more with world championship experience. However the morning walk was ideal way to start. It's a long long week and that extra time to just relax in the sunrise was perfect.

It really goes to show what Titleist is looking for and how well they have thought through this testing opportunity. They don't simply want to ship out whatever stock set to our testers. They want the real deal and want to make sure testers get a Titleist experience along with being setup appropriately for their reviews. Could lead to some surprises, I hesitate to say disappointment, but maybe just unexpected results (similar to what happened with my t series fit). I recall (the pm chat has almost been as bad as the cobra one haha) 2 of the testers should have fits today (Thursday).

Not the biggest fan of how the crown looks on the Mizuno, but super excited for all of you to get these in play and see how they perform!

Pretty sure I am like many and use 4. PW, GW and then 54 58. It is a combo I have felt at home with and one that would be tough to go away from at this point...however you never know!

I'm guessing your working within a certain budget? I would rule out the Nike, but that's me. Any consideration to going the DTC route? Have her go in for a fitting, get some specs and then order something that fits her within the budget you're looking at?

Not odd at all. I would encourage you to read the Want To Be A Tester Thread. Yes there were two repeat testers in this group. However they both tested products (and completed) which are of a lower dollar value and make them eligible for a potential second test in the season. These items are gloves, golf balls, grips and some other smaller items. Despite the fact he did not have to, Ben wrote 3 excellent reviews on all 3 grips when he was only asked to do 1. Greg had Red Rooster which was one of our first tests of the season. Bottom line we are 34 tests into the season, there is going to be some overlap. However testers who have say done a set of irons already or golf carts that type of thing will not be eligible for another main test this season. Maybe golf balls or something like that, but not another main test. I have said it before and I will say it again, testers should only sign up for testing opps they want to take part in because in most cases they will only get one per season. There have been over 180 testers this season. 3 of which have had 2 opps this season. Last point, they didn't win. They were selected and have a lot of work ahead of them. There is a lot of responsibility with these tests. Not just to provide a good review, but to all members who wish they had this opportunity, to the OEM for providing the equipment, to the forum staff and everyone else involved. The testers which were selected have earned this opportunity... and trust me the decision to leave a few people off this one was tough! It sucks having to make those decisions sometimes, but those who were just short listed and missed out will be sure to get their opportunity soon. They don't know it yet, but their time will come.

Let's get some more questions in for @Tony Covey MGS! Saw a social post about driving distance and Nike drivers.. I didnt think they were THAT bad, but do you think Nike golf clubs will ever come back?

I am not going anywhere far from my LAB putter, but will be watching this closely! Thanks for posting and will be curious to see how this works out for you. Will also be curious to see if any lead weights come into play at some point.

I definitely think they have been a good addition. I haven't actually gone through my list yet, but think I have a bunch more to do. I know Tim, Bryan and Matt are all working on theirs as well!
