  1. I'm not surprised. Maybe it is a bit harsh or blunt, but quite often the warranty goes through the purchase location. It's how many OEMs work. It's also why I said it would be best to take it to the store or talk to them vs Vokey in my first response. I'm sure had the item been taken back to the store they would have replaced it on site.
  2. Sorry but definitely a generic answer, but only way to find those specific numbers is going to be through a fitting. So many ppl are different have all sorts of variables. Ping has been a really popular hybrid among the forum staff though. Same with Titliest and PXG is underrated for their hybrids to name a few. Same goes for shaft, the stiffness profiles are different across brands so X may be similar to an S in others. Do you know what weight you prefer? That is a place I generally like to start and look at. Sorry for my non answer-answer.
  3. Of course! Given all the other stuff I get to do here it is one of the fun things I get to do is keep all of you on your toes. This place is truly so much fun. That said there is so much going on with back end stuff that I miss way more than I would like.
  4. It is Tuesday and I am a little bored. So guess that means we get a few little teasers for the week to come. Thursday is a brand we talked about a decent amount and have a great product, but it definitely is not for everyone. That said there are going to be a host of golfers clammering over this one to get involved. Saturday may break the record books.
  5. Assuming you want to make these work as best for you - how long would you give these grips before switching them out or replacing them?
  6. I am excited to try the new iteration of the pro plus as well. It is my current go to golf ball. Like the look and of course the message with these. Good on you Vice!
  7. The good news is when it does ship it will come quick! Mine was in LA one night and Zurich the next morning.
  8. Cobra F7 3 and 7 woods are certainly getting there!
  9. When is the next event that Scottie plays in and he doesn't win?
  10. How much difference in feel is there between colors? I can recall the white and black LINK being said to be firmer or softer than each other.
  11. Would love to hear all the testers thoughts on the shaft and how you feel it performs in the putter?
  12. Coming very soon the NoPuttsGiven Crew will be hosting Sam Hahn for a special edition of ASKMYGOLFSPY all centered around L.A.B. Golf. The cool part? You have the chance to take part and have your questions answered! If you have a question about L.A.B. Golf or their putters and anything else L.A.B. centric let us know in the comments below! Then stay tuned to the next episode of NPG and see if your question gets answered! Let's hear those questions!
  13. I can't wait to get started on my other irons. Just need to set aside a bit more time as they will take more time to do and will also get new grips.
  14. If it was a thing it wouldn't be till next season. This season is basically completed for our schedule. I will confirm I have not reached out to them though.
  15. Definitely golf tees. They are a pain to buy one at a time
  16. Lots! To be honest it is a little bit too long to list but basically most companies have gone in a more simple or traditional look as that has been a trend.
  17. Stix! Byrdie Golf Design and Robin Golf are a few that come to mind immediately!
  18. Lag putts I think are more about greens and just speed. I did find a bit of time getting to feel for lag putts with my Mezz but it came together pretty quick. They have a nice pop on the sweet spot and are a bit more dead left and right of center. Either way I just did a lot more practice and it ended up not being an issue.
  19. Finally! Been meaning to put these back together for some time now. Not likely going to play them as I put some older graphite reg flex shafts in them, but at least now they can be part of my meeting background!
  20. Every so often I boost this thread as we have new members with new ideas who want to get more involved in helping the forum grow. The focus group is a great first step! We are always on the lookout for members who want to get involved and help us grow in various ways that lean into either our own or their strengths. Want to take on a larger role or get more involved? Send me a PM and we can get you all setup!
  21. Where I live - Yes. Without question. However my situation is unique and the country I live in everything is expensive. I don't have much reference anymore to how much things are in the US and such, but I think there are various values for different courses. There are bound to be cheaper options, maybe conditions are as nice however it is all relative. Naturally prices of everything surrounding the maintenance and running of a course has gone up and they still need to make money in order to survive so if prices go up as well that makes sense.
  22. The world of premium golf shafts is extensive and complicated. As the emphasis on proper fittings in golf has grown, so has the arrival of more competitors. One such company is Autoflex. Who Is Autoflex? Established in 2009 in Korea, Autoflex now is available in more than 40 countries. They promote their Korea Hidden Technology made by Dumina Designs which includes their patented combination of high-quality carbon fiber and additional proprietary materials to create a lightweight shaft with less distortion. Autoflex bucks the concept of traditional flexes and goes with a system that is more based on driver clubhead speed with six different shafts to match a golfer's swing. Please welcome and congratulate our testers! @chisag @KC Golf @BallsLeon @Kenny B @ZMendle10 @Jean D @nvizble1 @Golfspy_CG2
