  1. After a trade is accepted it will show in pending. Once approved it shows in transaction history.
  2. Of course I will wait till the cobra irons and ping irons and well all the other irons come out, but on immediate impression the ST Pro irons have jumped out and caught my eye more then a lot of other irons have in the past.
  3. I know the TM will get a lot of intrigue and interest, but for me this is the one I'm most excited about.
  4. I set up the links for people to reference if they so choose. Please comment away here on whatever you like regarding the new releases!
  5. Since I am not a commissioner only a player in this league I can't answer that. I can remember 2 that didn't go through, but don't remember the specifics of them? Either way again I can't really answer this, only give my opinion on what I think is fair. Trades for various players are easier at the beginning of the season. It does get a little trickier late in the season with fedex points mattering more and I seem to recall thats when we had some that didn't go through. In the end I trust our commissioners to do the work that they do. It is nice that there are three of them and they communicate a fair bit and don't do anything on a whim so again in the end I trust them to make the right calls and again at the beginning of the season I don't forsee any issues, it is when we get late in the season that it makes a difference. Maybe we look at adjusting the trade deadline? or requesting it so that fedex points don't have the same weight as they did last year?
  6. Hello all! As per usual @Berg Ryman will send out the fantasy for dummys post soon which is a great read and highly suggested for all to go through. However myself and @blackngold_blood wanted to put together a trade post. As we are usually the more active on the trade front, however may not be so much this season. We wanted to send out a note to encourage trading in a proper manner so everyone enjoyed the league! First off if you don't want to trade or want to stick with your drafted roster THAT IS OKAY!! Everyone plays fantasy sports a little different, so if you like roster and want to see it through the season then by all means simply say so and nobody will take offence to that! Second use the trade block function in fantrax. It is a great resource for everyone to see who is looking to trade who. Maybe just as important remember if there are players you want to add them into your looking for spot. Included in this there is a note section where you can add in what you like to help aid trades. Along with this communication is of course part of it. We have MGS pm's as well as a slack channel to reach out to owners who have the players you want. Negotiate, bargain and talk your way through trades as this can help with making sure each team gets what they are looking for. Third is a tough one. @xOldBenKenobiX made up a awesome trade chart last year which helped be a general guide for users. We may look to update it this year and shift some of the values. However everyone will value players differently. For example I don't care how good P Reed is, I don't want him and wouldn't trade for him even if it was a $1 of FAAB. Some members will value players a lot more or less then you and lets all understand that. It is nice having copies of players which allow us to make multiply offers and hopefully find a deal with one of them if you are desperate for a player. Just keep a open mind. Second to last is communication of offers. If a offer is sent to you of course you can decline or counter, it is part of trading. That being said it is nice when a quick note is sent in a decline as to why. Could be simply don't want to trade or I would rather have player x or y. Regardless this is a small and simple function that goes a long ways and makes trading a bit more fun and engaging for all. Sending ridiculous counters is well not so much fun and at least for me not really appreciated. I'd much rather a no thanks that doesn't work for me. In addition to this talking about trades or searching for advice on deals that have been is very normal and encouraged. Bng and I talk trades a lot and in the end usually only end up doing one deal a season with each other, but don't hesitate to reach out to any one of us as a lot of us just really enjoy the strategy and talking fantasy sports/trades. Finally last, but certainly not the least this league is for FUN and it is free. No money on the line, but a MGS golden ticket. Please let us all make sure we keep that in mind and enjoy the season, have fun with it and enjoy this wonderful league the commissioners have created for us to participate in. With that if anyone has anything else to add please do and no please don't say "don't trade with BNG" he is truly one of the best to communicate with on trades whether it is advice for another deal or wanting to trade with him it is always a fun experience.
  7. It's a small draft. If you look at your team you can see all of your picks. Just select team and scroll down a bit. That being said i am willing to trade back in the first round or trade some others to grab an additional 2nd or 3rd either way open to some trades. Keep on mind 5 copies means pick 13 guarantees a top 3 guy!
  8. I'm in Switzerland and there is very little if any baseball here at all. Have a hard enough time finding the NFL... it's a wonder I end up doing as well as I do with only watching maybe 6 hours all season. Golf is easier and on a lot of channels....with little to no commercials
  9. Embargo dates for Cobra are a little later this month so we only have to wait a couple weeks and we will be able to see them all! Pretty sure TM and Callaway are this week as well.
  10. I mean my new born could be coming at anytime so would be good way to pass time if I'm waiting at the hospital haha
  11. I already know the answer is no, but mock draft?
  12. Alan sorry to hear you are going through those struggles. I'm glad that from the sounds of it you have a good support system and have been able to make your decision with a clear head. As others have said don't be a stranger, here! We have always loved your content and I still rank your i200 review as one of the most memorable on the site. Take care and wish you all the best moving forward!
  13. Congrats to @Rwagn4on the championship ! Put what i thought was my best roster forward and want quite enough. Second year in the championship only to come up short again. One of these years I'll get the banner, but taking home second is still a accomplishment considering all the great players we had this season. thank you all for participating and the commissioners! See you next year!
  14. Hours before we get underway and get the party started a few other congrats to a couple players @Mtbryant01 lead the regular season in Offensive scoring (1737.1) @Rwagn4 lead the regular season in Kicker Scoring (132) @Micah Tlead the regular season in DST Scoring (308)
  15. You were able to go through all 587 pages!?! That is maybe worthy of an award.
  16. Golfholics with Rapsodo did a 20 or so minute video as a course vlog using the MLM. Interesting video and worth a look if you enjoy their content!
  17. We both have Swift and Phili DST so I'm cheering hard for them. I don't envy your position with all those valuable RB with any of them being good starters. I can guarantee one of the 4 of us will end up having a league winner on the bench. That is my spot that I'm still struggling with between Zeke and Swift and to a lesser extent Allen. I have a lot riding on the Chargers and KC offences!
  18. I thought I was getting a 10 point bonus for being the only one in the finals with 20 regular season wins? That would bump me to 162 vs your 159!
  19. I think it's decent. It's a get what you pay for type deal, but does the trick for Ball Speed and swing speed. Ask for carry I'd say it's okay, not amazing but again for the price worth it. I can't say I used wedges and short game so that part i can't really say but the rest i would say a sound device
  20. Two things really stood out to me thinking back. One Spieth and his resurgence last year. Was a great to see and good for the sport overall i believe. Next up was Morikawa at the Open. After a less then stellar Irish open he came out with just a phenomenal performance. There are other highlights in there for me as it was a fun season and there were of course several disappointments with players like Fowler, Day, Hatten, Fleetwood among others who seemed to have lost a step or just struggled. Hopefully next season they will be back in form. Either way a great season and hopefully a few more first time major winners in 2022.
  21. Tomorrow is the deadline and then the fun begins!
  22. I think part of that is because we know these 3 have had their new 2022 drivers out on the wild. As far as most of us know Ping, Titleist, Mizuno, Srixon and others are still on their 2021 versions.
  23. Funny the amount of movement given there are only 4 teams on the waiver wire. Also none of us have any FAAB so it is a free for all. Not sure if any of the pickups will make it to the gameday roster, but still time left for injuries/covid and the like. Another few things that are worth noting are after the Sunday games are done (unless we see some big changes) we will have our winner! No need to wait till Monday is over as none of us have any Cleveland or Pittsburgh players. Between the 4 teams there are a few overlapping players. Kelce/Allen/Swift and Adams. I didn't look at DST or Kickers, but I think Phili is another overlap for the moment. Fantrax is being a little slow on projections having both Cook, Ekeler and a few other starts projected for less then a point, but that could just be due to uncertainty in the practice reports. Also worth noting several benches have Jackson, Scott and other potential plug in RB. Also QB 1 YTD is not rostered by any team (Josh Allen), neither is RB1, 2 or 3 YTD (Taylor, Mixon and Najee), no Deebos or Justin Jefferson (WR3,4 respectively YTD), no Andrews who is TE1 or Kittle (TE3). In all a pretty odd season I think we can all agree with so many injuries and covid missed games causing havoc on rosters. Thats my mini deep dive. I think it will be close with the winning team scoring north of 160 points and in the end it being decided by under 5 points between teams 1 and 2. I am scared as much as you can get of Kamara doing another 5 td day as he did last year killing my finals chances and am hoping this year it comes right down to the wire!
  24. With the net compatibility it is more calculations then anything. The more distance you have the better it is. Set up is also silly important and i found in my review that was key to getting the best results. How much ball flight is it reading? Or how much room do you have from ball to net?
  25. I think the extra amounts may be determined by how many spots we actually draft? If we draft 8 or 10 spots I don't think it will be that much extra. If we draft 6 of 10 then I would say it is safe to think we will get a extra 100? Golf is a longer season too and I think not last year but the year before we started with 200 FAAB. So maybe 200 is a safe number to think about going into the season? Definitely no start limits. Great for circus and not so much for a main league. Trades: Draft pick trades please! Outside of that not much on that front. Will there be a IR or Covid spot? I know having 10 roster spots should be enough, but given the dynamics this year in football I think it would be a good to have. I like that we increased the win points to 10 and that should be a good bonus moving forward. Outside of that I think scoring is fair and has been. I know it will never happen because of the way it is done, but a player WD getting zero (example Rahm) is still one I wish we could see fixed one day. Finally the only thing I would mention from last year and I do agree with how we did it even tho there was some back and forth (again 10 spots should help) that we just give a quick glance at the schedule and if there are any dumpster events we do look at taking the week off in advance. Or maybe because we have 10 spots it is a tough luck, suck it up but we should all be aware of this well in advance and plan for it accordingly.
