  1. Went out as a single early-early today and played worst ball of two. I’ve never done this before but for some reason, an Instagram story kept reminding me that Rory plays this and tries to break par…I did not break par Shot an 81, it was fun and different…and I beat the rain. So all in all, it was a good day.
  2. 5/29 Is my bday so let me just say you chose a great day to tie the knot! Congrats, and to many more! It's kinda scary to think how difficult it is for everyone to get together. Happy almost 14!!
  3. Celebrating my 5th wedding anniversary today. I’ve been thinking of how quickly it went by and while we were planning, it was so much emphasis on making it my wife’s special day. For anyone who hasn’t or is hoping to get married soon I want to say one thing. Weddings are certainly all about the spouse but don’t lose sight of the fact that this is one of the only times, maybe the only, where you’ll be surrounded by your favorite people in the world. It’s special and do whatever you can to soak it all in before your liver soaks up a bottle of champagne
  4. That’s awesome. Clearly you’re making better contact and that breeds some big confidence.
  5. From what I can see, there’s nothing to dislike about that ballflight. My ears perked up when you mentioned feel similar to the 120 series. I’m still interested…
  6. There wasn’t anything Herculean about today. On any other day we’d expect to hit a good shot here so it’s the hole that makes this one special for me. 3 wood with a nice soft draw leaving 151 to a front right pin. My tee ball plugged so once I cleaned it up I took a moment to admire a great shot to commemorate a mediocre round.
  7. Ben Hogan Player’s Combo is the single best feeling iron set I’ve ever played. Period. Not only do they feel great, they are as good as anything on the market for players or mid handicappers.
  8. 18 at a course I haven't played since 1999 when I was back in HS. Greens were unsolvable today. I couldn't get a line if my life depended upon it. 79 from the almost tips. 41 / 38 with 4/14 fairways 6 GIR, 32 putts. Terrible numbers but it makes that 79 feel that much better.
  9. That's bonkers! Hopefully you get a shot sooner than later!
  10. Update... I ordered a 7-X Blue from The People's Clubs a few weeks ago. It arrived and since then I've put a few swings on it with my SIM2 3 wood. Here's some thoughts for anyone who's also interested. When people say stable, they aren't kidding, there is a reason why this shaft is getting the reps that it is. It's billed as super stable and stable it is...There are no squirrely shots. My driver / 3w miss is towards the toe and for anyone who doesn't know, it causes a giant nose dive to the left. I can now play this off the toe and hit a high sweeping draw that stay within my margins, it's actually amusing to be honest. Feel is stable but not soft. I was expecting a slightly softer / rubbery feel but I wont say I am disappointed. It's solid but most important, dispersion is tight. Velocore is for real, bad swings offer a far better margin of error. I am pleased. Not only did Will prep and build this super quick, the price was better than anywhere else.
  11. Berg...Check out the old Tour Tempo program...may help...
  12. Playing tomorrow and wanted to grab some swings today while the big kid was at school. The GBox Shallower is paying dividends for my irons and I’m thrilled. I’m getting that feeling of keeping the club on plane into impact and through the ball. FullSizeRender.mov
  13. Storm doors are not a single man job. They're also not a 30 minute job. Fortunately, the existing framing was square and I only had to rip a 3/8" piece of pine to fill the gap for the new door. That said, having a quiet and smooth operating door out front is quite lovely.
  14. One of the nicest feeling and performing wedges I’ve ever used. Nice build, hope you enjoy them as much as guys here have.
  15. 1 week down with the shallower. I won't go deep dive but just some quick points if anyone here wants to expound. 1) It is fantastic for putting. Anyone who struggles to keep their arms moving congruently or fights their wrists breaking, it would certainly help. 2) There is no set forearm for RH v LH. I swing RH but I am naturally left handed. I've found more success with it on my left forearm than my right. George recommends RH golfers wear it on their right forearm. I am not trying to be a rebel, it just works better for me and what I am trying to feel and see on video. 3) I've liked warming up with it on the range using wedges. Pitches for 10-25 shots help me really create some rhythm and tempo but also set a good foundation for the bigger swings. There will be more. It's pretty simple but gets the job done. I can leave it in my carry bag without sacrificing space and for a guy who isn't a big fan of training aids, GG made a product that I really enjoy.
  16. So far so good. One things for sure, I have to say it's a great looking shaft. Reminds me a little of the Titleist Speeder in the 905 series. I always loved that aesthetic. @RollingGreensI'm looking at you and how you would compare this to your 120's.
  17. For now, I am sticking with the EvenFlow Black 6.5. The Ventus Blue in my 3 wood does everything I had hoped for and will likely be in contention for my next driver. The EF feels wonderfully smooth and has one of the most penetrating flights I've ever seen.
  18. And as a alien, the state has determined we shall revoke his driving privilege as well as...
  19. Rolled a bunch of putts today while the big kid took a nap. I've been focused on a couple different putting drills since I bought the PuttOut and one thing that's really helped me was addressing my tempo. I am taking the putter back much slower and keeping the head low back and through the stroke. Not only has contact been better but the on-course results are there. For someone that never loved practicing putting, I wish I had bought this thing much sooner.

Id swim in that soufflé...nice job.
  21. Check the serial number on the hosel. ALL PING clubs have a unique serial number that will tell the story of their life. Date of mfg, original build and date and specs among other things. Be sure that they all match, this is the easiest way to see if they’re authentic. Sorry for your luck.
