I am around 122-123 driver swing speed.

I have recently started putting left hand low and found that super strokes claw grip feels fantastic for putting that way. It is very flat and square on the bottom with a bit of pistol on the top half. I was able to hit the new super hybrid and I am completely impressed. I know that manufacturers like to make claims. We have all heard them 15 yards more this, and straighter that. But callaway's claims that this can replace fairway woods is true. I was able with the 17 degree hybrid set minus one to 16 to get ball speeds up to 168 MPH. Thats with a smaller head, and shorter shaft. It is also the least hook biased hybrid I have tried. It has great feel, and the ball comes off hot. I think from the fairway it would be much easier to hit than most fairway woods and you really are not giving anything up but gaining control. The $320 dollar price tag is pretty steep, but I think many will be able to find a way to justify it.

That putter probably has some really bad JUJU. I would get rid of it as fast as possible.

If you have a repeatable swing that can be fit, I think a proper fitting equates to a couple saved strokes per round tops. So say you are shooting around par, then those few shots per round that may have missed the green, may just find it on the edges kinda thing.

Man, to me club champion is a rip off. I fit people for free as part of the purchase, Club champions goal is the fit you into the most expensive shaft, grip, head combos they can, then they charge you to put them together. Even if they are standard specs and you can order them from the manufacturer at no up charge.

My prediction is the Brooks falls to 5th or below in rankings this year.

I work part time as a fitter. Sure places like club champion may offer lots and lots of options. The problem that I see is that the average golfer (defined as someone that does not break 100) has almost no benefit to getting fit. They are not consistent enough, or good enough for a fitting to even be accurate. They do just as well, and save a ton of coin buying off the rack. The only exception being those are are out of the norm tall or short. This push to get fit is in my opinion industry driven to sell you on upgrades that most see not benefit from so that they can make huge margins. It is not till you are around at 10 handicap that a fitting really produces any kind of noticeable results.

I am a fan of Kronos... I have had good luck with my release. There are not many long neck blades out there and this one fits the bill perfectly for me.

The reason he does not play anymore is a very large insurance policy that made it so he would never have to work again. Why grind and travel and all of that if you do not have to and still have millions in the bank? He was a fun kid to watch. A perfect example of a flash in a pan. A star that burned bright but not long. It is pretty well known that he was a bigger fan of partying than playing golf as well.

While I really want to get one of those cart motorcycle things. I do enjoy a round in a cart with conversation. I think I would miss that if there were only solo cart options. Remember, golf is a social event as well.
