  1. So is that all the bags locked and loaded? Did anyone end up with something different than they were expecting going into the fitting? I know we had a number of 7 woods and big fairways and different wedge combinations.
  2. Great score with the tee troubles! We’re you just off the fairway? probably best to head in at the turn with those skies!
  3. Ah right. For some reason I read that last one as you having your driver back. hopefully you’ll see the same results once you do!
  4. Na man! Short game was rusty. We all know he’s only in it for majors anyway. I just hope he counts the FedEx cup as a major!
  5. Rickie right on the cut line. Ugh that’s rough. I didn’t see him play at all this week but saw some early birdies on the card and was hopeful.
  6. I’m sorry, did someone say Modus 120? also have to agree on the fairways. Those rails make a huge difference for me hitting off the turf!
  7. Impressive performance gains! Are you noticing any difference in flight bias? Or are you still seeing your normal flight?
  8. Have you ever had a full set of clubs in the bag long enough to qualify for Cobra Connect? It is a FULL SUMMER of golf with a SINGLE set of clubs you know!
  9. Today's SuperSpeed training was going much better than Wednesdays! As I had said I struggled to move the heavy club with any velocity but today I was right up near my blue club speeds. I was about 10 MPH faster with it today. I started the 3rd protocol but I instead of doing 4 of each club I added 3 using the counter weight club to start. My fastest speed of the day actually came with that club on off hand swings. I hit 130 mph and was quite surprised. Unfortunately I could feel a blister coming so I bowed out of my final 3 swings of the day. Also this morning I did some planemate work. I really like using it the morning. Gets the muscles engaged early and helps loosen up any tightness in my lower back.
  10. haha that is awesome. Also I am now singing that song for the rest of the day. Thanks for that.
  11. Happy Birthday gentleman!
  12. -4 potential cut line!? I knew it looked like my team was doing too good! hahaha
  13. Wow, that is great news! Glad her professors were understanding and congrats to her on the transfer!
  14. I know I've posted in the NE regional thread about tournaments and such. I'm going on a trip in June and there will be a few other Spies there for some sounds too. You could start in that thread for where you live and see who's close by!
  15. I get that. As a long time stand bag user I'm sort of used to fishing for the right wedge so that part isn't an issue for me. Still, having the bag a little more upright doesn't sound like a bad idea.
  16. Now I take a lot of excel flat files/database links, push them through an Alteryx model, and output the results to a Power BI dashboard... it's sooo much better than building presentations in Power Point or constantly building charts/graphs in excel. Side note: Sorry to 99% of the forums members who don't understand what I just wrote and could care less about excel.
  17. I know that becomes an issue for A LOT of people. Have you tried moving your clubs around for push cart rounds vs riding cart rounds? I set my clubs up with the wedges towards the net area of mine like this if I know I'm going to be pushing, and it keeps things pretty well separated. Not sure what bag you have, but it might be worth a try to see if it keeps them out of the way for you.
  18. Sounds like my day job... have you tried using Alteryx at all? Super powerful tool for large datasets. It's saved me a bunch of time!
  19. This has been a nice thread. I've been very fortunate to take part in 3 tests for the forums to date. As others have already mentioned I only apply for something that I am really interested in. The reviews are work and you'll be expected to follow through and be active throughout the process. Even in testing a dozen balls with a line on them I had to really think about how it effected my game and if I liked it or not. I think one of the best things you can do to prep yourself to be selected to test is to post an unofficial test or two using the scoring system from prior official tests. It will give you a good gauge on the amount of work time required for tests. Also, please post in the WITB thread! If for nothing else I like to see what other members are playing and have had some good conversations in there. It's also a good spot to show case some of your photo/multimedia talents. I always enjoy reviews better if there are good photos/videos to go along with it, and testers are generally expected to have a good balance of text and media in reviews. Maybe most importantly... Be Honest! I've been fortunate that most of everything I tested worked well for me and I liked. I'm still using the rangefinder I tested, I continue to order balls with the AlignXL aid, and have all of the Cobra clubs still in my bag. At the same time, I've been honest about my struggles with the Cobra hybrid. I even got to tell Cobra what I liked, and more importantly did not like about the equipment last year... which is super cool. Add to that the number of things I've added to my bag and found out about due to the forum tests/reviews... SuperSpeed, Planemate, Snell balls, Evnroll putters, PuttOUT training aids, etc. I hope a lot of the new members this year stumble across this and get active outside of the testing threads. I've said it before and I'll say it again. There's so much more to this forum than the official testing threads!
  20. I wish they had been open in 2019! About a month ago. Not sure how big the market is on single-lengths.... might be worth a call to see if they're still there. I want to go stop by there soon, I'll take a peek and let you know if they're still there if I do.
  21. Last time I was in PGASS in Natick they had a set of used Forged Tec one-lengths on the used rack.... no wait time there! Well other than maybe a grip change, they had the Bryson Jumbo ones on there.
  22. I found this one... http://www.intheholegolf.com/store/urcpc.html Upright Caddy Golf Push Cart Here's their description: Upright Caddy Golf Push Cart Introducing the patented, revolutionary Upright Caddy 4 wheel golf push cart. The only golf cart on the market that carries your bag and clubs like a caddy would, upright. Ever see a caddy hold the bag backwards to select a club? Tired of struggling to identify, retrieve, and return your clubs to the bag? Tired of ruining your grips? This is the next generation in golf carts! OR: It looks like Clicgear has an attachment which would probably be the higher quality option: https://www.clicgearusa.com/products/clicgear-tour-bag-kit Description Designed to Fit Perfectly on our Clicgear Model 1.0 ~ 4.0 Carts. The Clicgear Tour Bag Kit accommodates TOUR style golf bags for your cart. Keeps clubs in a vertical position for easy removal and replacement. Outside of that I've been enjoying the PING Traverse / CaddyTec combo so far. I think having a bag with good dividers goes a long way to providing a good user experience.
  23. Oh yeah the red one can be a b**ch sometimes. Haha. There are days in out of sequence and can struggle to get it over 100mph. Then other days it’s been as fast as my blue. looking forward to tomorrow’s workout being better. Haha
  24. Ive Got a resin 8x10 still waiting for a free weekend to assemble. Lol
