  1. Absolutely love the bb6x in my driver but curious if anybody can provide some feedback on here for the new tour ad xc? Lookin for info on how it feels compared to the bb. Thanks!

  2. With a 1.7 H/C, I feel certain you are an excellent ball striker. I currently play the TM P790 irons and am considering getting a set of the Titliest T100s or T200, I want the T100s, but am concerned that I might need a little forgiveness. What are your mishits like with these clubs? That is if you ever have any. LOL
    Thanks for any feedback.

I firmly believe they still have some forgiveness, not as much as T200 but there would be some. The thin top line makes me feel like I’m playing the 620CBs but they feel like butter. You could always do a t200 in 4-6 and t100s 7-pw, if you could get with a fitter that could get your loft gaps right. I’ve hit a fair amount of long irons with these and a few toe strikes snuck in there, but I didn’t notice too big of a loss

  3. I know there have been some posts on these but I just wanted to share some feedback that I found with them. Could very well be the best iron I’ve ever played. Got fit for them with DG x100 shafts. The loft and cg shifting on them did exactly what I was hoping. They give me a much flatter trajectory with maintaining a good landing angle to stop quickly. The feel and feedback has got to be the best part. Those who play forged irons know exactly what I’m talking about. Sound is nice and solid. Even though I wasn’t getting them to get more distance, I did gain about a half club per club. I had 716 ap2’s prior to this, and I loved them, but these T100S irons will be in the bag for a very long time I feel.

  4. Played yesterday and it was the best driving display i have ever had, i hit the same shot over and over. I eliminated the right side of the fairway, it was consistent shots left side with the smallest of fade. The ball jump of the club face and it felt like it was in the air for along time. It definitely brought a lot of confidence know that you are only dealing with one side of the fairway and that you will hit that fairway 80% of the time.

    Love to hear this!

  5. This got into my bag today, which was a total surprise. After struggling with the new Cobra SZ (replacing my F9).
And after several shaft and adjustment, I was about to go back to the F9 when I was giving the option to try the new Ping G410 LST. I never had Ping equipment before so I was not expecting much.
Surprisingly the numbers were impressive, and the feel and tragectory where outstanding.  And as a bonus it was much longer.
Took it back to the range to give it real workout, and it perform even better.
Taking it tomorrow to the course for a real test
If you a looking for a driver, I would give this model a look and not quickly dismissed it as I originally did

Absolutely love mine!! Very excited to hear what your thoughts are on the course! Pretty fun to have a low spin driver that’s so forgiving!

  6. Thank you .. I literally only asking for the thrusday/friday rounds

It’s been good but I don’t know if I jinxed it or what, but the commentary today is interesting. Haha the ladies are talking about DJ’s thick beard and admitting they tell fart jokes... lol

  7. Does anyone have a PGA Tour Live subscription ? I believe you can purchase through NBC or Amazon.. just wondering if they liked it or disliked ..pros/cons ..Thanks !

I have it and enjoy it for Thursday’s and Friday’s when I’m not by the TV. Commentary can get crappy sometimes but the clarity and s*** coverage is pretty solid. Shot tracers and it seems like they stay on top of things pretty well!

  8. What is the best way to determine the best putter for you? Whether it is a blade, mid-mallet, or mallet, do you just go to the store and try them and see which one is the most comfortable? What goes into finding the right putter for you?

May be the wrong way to look at it, but I found the best way to know if a putter is the right fit if I can consistently roll it on line and the weight feels good for my tempo. I start with the putter that rolls on line and feels good, then I fine tune it with grip type and size. Currently using TM spider tour black, with super stroke flatso 3.0 grip. Heavy weight insert for balance

  9. PING offers a pretty good selection of popular shaft options with this driver.  Which did you originally select and what have you upgraded too?

I started off with Evenflow black. Really loved the feel and I could time it right. Got a chance to try the tp6x and bb6x from graphite design and that’s where I noticed my strikes got even better. I think they both just gave me the best awareness of where the head was and They gave me the best numbers

  10. I’m very happy with mine! I’m looking at an after market shaft to tighten dispersion, but it’s the most forgiving driver I’ve ever hit.

I can speak from my own experience that after I got fit for an aftermarket shaft my strikes got WAY more consistent. I used to be one of the guys laughing about the price of some of the shafts until I started gaming on after a fit. My strokes gained have improved because I’m finding more fairways, and right now all of my strikes are staying within a spot the size of a quarter instead of all over the face. My bad miss is on the toe but this shaft seems to bring that miss in big time!

  11. So I have a King Cobra F9 Tour 3W with a Orange Tensei in it. Let’s say I want to be in the market for a new 3W. The trade in value on that 3W is not very high, but obviously the shaft is $250.  Be kind of stupid to trade in the club for $100.  Any idea what is to be done in situations like this? Similarly I bought a G410 with a GD AD BB put in it for quite the upcharge, when it comes time to get a new driver I’d like to be able to get the proper amount of value for the shaft. Hope this makes sense and thank you for any assistance

I would also say to sell it outright yourself. You can sell it for what you want. Dealers will always give you just enough so they can make a couple dollars on it down the road. That is my opinion!

  12. Hey MGS Community,
Any of you guys had a chance to hit the PING G410 PLUS yet? Also are the fairway metals any good
    Let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks!

I really do enjoy mine!! Seems like once I got the right shaft in there it’s a very forgiving bomber without bumping the spin up too much! Really don’t know how ping will top it with their next model

  13. The golf gear junkie in me is wondering what folks think of the Cobra Speedzone Xtreme driver. Would love to hear some launch monitor numbers or some on course observations. I’ve heard it’s a forgiving head but wondering how spinny it is? I know swing and shaft are huge contributors to this but just want to hear more about it! Currently gaming the 410 plus

  14. Thanks for the feedback. What shaft did you use and would you consider trying the SIM?

Was running my trusty Tour AD Bb6x. I don’t think the spin was out of control because I could see a fair amount of rollout, I just like to be able to work the ball a little

  20. The green hulk is the stiffest shaft that PX has produced. The stoutness will feel different to every person. I know some guys with borderline 100mph smooth swings that tried it and didn’t like the feel or results. Another guy I talk to at the range had it in a couple drivers and he’s in the 115+ range. He liked it in the epic but not the Pxg.

Sounds good! My thought is a stout shaft like this might be a good setup for a heavier head and fast tempo. The combo might help load it. Just looking for stability when I want to go after it

  21. Working on some slight swing changes for 2020, really wanting to improve my launch conditions with the driver. Latest launch monitor numbers had my driver swing delivery consistently showing 3 degrees down and 1/2 degree out to in. Don’t mind the out to in so much because I like playing a cut, but wondering if anybody has some simple drills to work on to get that angle of attack on the positive side? Thanks in advance

  22. Keep us posted on what you choose

So I got to try the 75g EF Black on launch monitor today. Wow is all I can say! 12.5 launch, 2300 spin, 283 carry. Really love the flight, and the thing I wanted to share with you guys is how much more consistent I was with the heavier shaft weight. I know it’s all dependent on your own swing but my strikes on the sweet spot got down to the size of a quarter whereas with my current gamer is about twice the size with my miss being out on the toe. Just thought I’d share, I may have found my new driver shaft. Curious what other shafts are out there in the 70-75g weight with similar profile to try

  23. They are all great feeling and producing shafts. I’m really close to pulling the trigger on a black 65g but I’m torn on 6.5 or 6.0. I have a yellow Hzrdus in my G400LST.

What are you swinging right now?

I’m currently in a EF white T1100 65 6.5 in a Ping 410, but really felt like I had better tempo and found the middle of the face with a 75 g black EF. Tip stiff shafts have always been my friend in the driver. I’d love to try the black on a monitor to see what it’s spinning like, looked low to me but it went forever
