So here's a thread to roll off your tales past and present. The Driving Range Files Case #000001 DATE: Sunday May 20, 2014 LOCATION: Riverway GC - Burnaby, BC Canada I had just finished my final lesson and headed into the shop to pay. Nidine and I were hanging out yaking it up with the 2 staff members working we know well when a guy runs into the pro shop. Buddy - "QUICK!! I've lost my clubs, they took them!" Pro 1 - "Who took them?" Buddy - " I left my bag at my range stall and went to the washroom. When I returned they were gone!" Now I know that leaving your clubs unattended at a course is a no-no but you immediately feel horrible for buddy, cause you know as well as me those clubs are his babies. I got a pit in my stomach and felt genuinely terrible for him. Pro 2 - "what's your bag look like?" Buddy - "Black with clubs?" We all pause... Me - "No whats your bag look like and what type of clubs?" Buddy - "Black Ogio with Mizuno MP-64's" So the pros lock up the shop. One goes with buddy straight to the parking lot. The other says I'll go out the backdoor and Nidine & I say we'll go around to the right and then hit the range. After a 10 minute search we all meet up at the pro shop with that horrible defeated feeling... But buddy is not back yet. A minute later he sheepishly walks into the pro shop. Pro 1 - "Man this is terrible we're so sorry this has happened..." Buddy - "Well funny story there... I actually was practicing at the end of the range and not in the middle like I had thought. My bag is still in my stall where I left them.." Me - " Was it a black back with a rain hood on it?" Buddy - "Yes that's the one" And we're all just still shaking our heads....
