9 Holes

I usually play 9 holes with some friends after work in the summers on Wednesday afternoons. Do you guys think playing 9 holes, is better than not playing at all, from a getting better with your game standpoint?

Any golf is better than no golf. I played 9 the other day and realized how much I love 9. 18 is great and the gold standard and all, but 9 is underrated. I can play 9 twice as often as 18 for the same amount of money. That's twice as many days I get to be outside, hitting shots, meeting random people, etc. If I had unlimited time and, more importantly, money, I would only play 18, but here in reality 9 is awesome.

I play 9 holes twice a week after work and then 18 on the weekends. I usually will use my 9 hole rounds as practice rounds where I play one ball all the way through but I'll drop other balls in different places and try different shots. It's great practice and any time I get to play golf is a good time!

I wish I could play as much as you guys... I play 9 holes once a week in my league, and usually 18 once or twice a month on Sundays... I wish I could play more, but life gets in the way...
