After a one week break, the LPGA resumes its schedule this week with the playing of the LPGA Founders Cup. This will be the first of 3 consecutive tournaments that will be played on the west coast of the United States, and will include the year's first major championship.

Anna Nordqvist Shoots a 61 in the 3rd round and sets a course record.  It's a record that can only be broken by someone on the LPGA tour because no one else plays that course all year long.  The front nine is the Palmer course and the back nine is the Faldo course.

I was rooting for Stacy Lewis to get back into the winners circle. Glad to see her form coming back. Congrats to Anna! She had a great ball striking day.

The back nine is actually the Faldo course.

Yes, my mistake!!  Not sure what I was thinking!!  I've played both courses many times; had my career low round 69 on the Palmer course.
