Matt Saternus
Well, if Nike buys Scotty like is rumored in the other thread then all of this won't matter much. They could just stamp a swoosh on his putter and problem solved. Ugh, that would be like stamping a swoosh on the Mona Lisa. That putter is perfect as is. Don't mess with a 13 major winner. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 14, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 14, 2010 Ugh, that would be like stamping a swoosh on the Mona Lisa. That putter is perfect as is. Don't mess with a 13 major winner. Don't worry, it will be a sole stamped swoosh and increase the value. jamo
I think a swoosh stamped Scotty would look awesome. Maybe it could go right over the existing Titleist logo.
NGage
We're asking the wrong question. The real question is: which single iron will be new?
Matt Saternus
Don't worry, it will be a sole stamped swoosh and increase the value. I'm not sure the value of Tiger's putter could be any higher! The replicas sell for tens of thousands, imagine what the genuine article would cost! Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus
jamo
We're asking the wrong question. The real question is: which single iron will be new? I think it was a 9 iron, if I am understanding your reference correctly.
