MmmmmmBuddy 1,244
I reshafted them with Rifle 6.5 soft stepped and I wasn't that exact with measurements so some were a little off. Therefore lead tape. I would never think of throwing my byron... I understand... Here is the story of the last time a putter went on a solo flight... I was playing in a league match. Just a little 9 hole thing at a short executive course that is completely ownable. There are 3 "par 4's" on one side, and the longest is 265. #1 246yd "par4" - I drive it on the green to 20 feet, and 3 tap it for par.. #2 112yd par 3 - hit it to 8 feet, 2 putt #3 105yd par 3 - hit it to 15 feet, 3 putt #4 154yd par 3 - hit it in the bunker, splash it out to 5 feet, miss that... #5 150yd par 3 - hit in to 25 feet, 2 putt #6 265yd "par4" - Drive it on the green, 35 feet.... 3 putt........ #7 185yd par 3 - hit it to 4 feet!!! MISS!!!!!!! #8 235yd "par4" - drive it to 25 feet........ 3 tap AGAIN. The putter ceased to live at this point.... This was one of my all-time greatest ball striking days ever, and I never ever sniffed a birdie. Don't get upset i really don't know you at all but looking at all those nice approach shots in the greens and all those extra putts has to be eating at you. NO? It is part of the reason that I never play golf on a consistent basis anymore. I used to be a halfway decent player, and carried a 2.0 index for about 3 years... Then family happened. I still have those days when I hit it like a scratch player, but balance it out with my 15 hdcp short game, and shoot under 80.. but most of the time I am right around 82. In another thread I vowed to purchase a putter this year, and stick with it FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON. I hope this helps. (sorry for the threadjack.)
