As GolfSpy T pointed out in his lab, longer does not equal longer. Dustin Johnson, Ernie Els, Jeff Ogilvy and the tall guys will have longer clubs but usually just in the irons. They also have longer arms which helps with swing speed but these guys already have great speed. Control is what they need. And GolfSpy T says it is not worth the trade off.
