Shrek74
I haven't seen anything about the Vice Tour, so I wanted to ask if those who have or do play it what your thoughts are. Whenever I do their ball fitting tool, it keeps coming back to the Tour. I like its overall information, just curious about its feel and quality and how it plays. It's a great price even compared to other DTC balls, but the Surlyn cover concerns me on quality, construction, feel, etc. At an 18 handicap with work to do on my swing, these could be a great stepping point until I'm more consistent. Thoughts? Sent from my Samsung Note20 Ultra 5G using Tapatalk. GolfSpy_APH
I think you have the right thinking. They are a decent entry ball I would say. I have played them as a winter ball because they are cheap and well winter we get a lot of lost balls from plugging etc. The feel is fine, the pro plus is much better, but the tour isn't a premium ball. The cover is decently durable and sound on putting was pretty good too. Performance was good for the price as well. Had some great rounds with them, good enough stopping power and I don't feel as tho I got extremely penalized for using the tour. Bottom line I can't say they are a bad ball, but there are far better performers out there. However the price is good and as long as you don't care a ton about the cover feel I am sure youll get on with it just fine! FightingScot82
I could be wrong, but I think the Vice Tour is an ionomer 3-piece ball when the Pro is a urethane 3-piece ball. That makes the Tour less expensive and somewhat less durable.
