Cumberland trails has become a course I have been playing a few times a month and enjoying it. I also think it's worth playing the virtues, east of Columbus. I also agree apple valley is well worth it. Thanks for the info guys. I've had Apple Valley on the list to try and get to for a few years now. And I know about the really good stuff in CBus - Cumberland, Virtues, Denison and the RTJ courses. One day I'll get down there. Hosel_Rockets
Hello Ohio Spies! I wanted to share some information on a 4-man scramble coming up that a friend of mine is running and coordinating to raise money for ALZ Research. It was very well done last year, and this year is even better! It will be held at The Medallion Club in Westerville, and they have a lot of really great prizes! www.golfgenius.com/ggid/am8wca/register Edited July 16 by Hosel_Rockets snoopy79 1 Quote WITB: Driver - LTDx 9* w/ Mitsubishi Chemicals Kuro Kage 70g Stiff Shaft 3 Wood - LTDx 15* w/ Mitsubishi Chemicals Tensei 75g Stiff Shaft 7 Wood - AI Smoke Triple 20* w/ Project X Denali Black 70g Stiff Shaft Irons (PW-4 Iron) - P790 w/ Oban 115g X-Stiff Shafts Wedges (50, 54, 58) - SM9 Putter - Studio Stock 28 Armlock w/ Super Stroke Grip

Hope your and the golf went well. Fun course, big greens, a few tricky holes. Gofing went very well and we came in with a solid 56 which tied for first place. They had two trick holes. One par three you paid $20.00 and you got a birdie. We hit anyway and still got a birdie. The other was you paid $100 on a par 5 and that put you on the edge of the green between two flags with a 52 foot putt. I drained it for the albatross. We raised 150 k for charity. Of course I got hung up with the airline debacle. Trying to fly home on that Friday was a mess. DiscipleofPenick
I think it's about time to plan another meet up. The next few weekends are booked, but everything opens up August 24 then on for the rest of the season. Want to play Ashland CC again? Or try Brookside, it's the other course in Ashland. Or do 36 and play both? Any other suggestions? Would be 36 in one day, if enough are up for it. There's some Columbus guys that want to play so there's a handful of courses that are about half-way between CLE & CBUS. We normally get something for late morning so no one has to get up too early.
