I'm currently wearing a pair of spike less New Balance (came with spikes but took them out).. Everyone says shoes make a world of difference so I'm wanting to get opinions on what shoes I should try next..I wear a 15D so options are kinda limited

If you’re a walker you cannot beat ECCO shoes like a Biom4, or the like.  So comfortable and water proof.   I may never wear another brand.

Some days I still have it . . .

I’ve liked the true links knit (2s are more comfortable than 3s). The shoes give decent grip and a comfortable to wear on the course or just day to day life. I also have a pair of under armor spikeless, which are also comfortable, but wanted something more low profile that I could wear without socks when I opt for shorts.

I use to be a solid Footjoy golf shoes, still have a couple of pairs.  But I have moved to Paytner. The have great comfort, give me the stability I need, and great traction. Try a pair and you will see.

I was a regular Footjoy man in the steel spike era, but in recent times, I've found Skechers to be the most comfortable, just like their casual street shoes.  NONE of them are as good on the golf course as the old shoes were, so comfort alone became my primary criterion.

I was going to recommend SQAIRZ, but quick check and 14 is their biggest that I saw.

I have always had good luck with FootJoy, but when it comes to width New Balance seems to be the go to option.

I wear a 14D in almost everything and a 13D in Sqairz, so those probably will work for @Bubba1985.  They are narrow enough in the heel to lock me in and wide enough in the toe box to give enough room for my toes to spread out and grip the ground.

I actually wear a 15D in most things and a 16 in some things.. Haven't had a shoe in a 14 in any brand or width fit me in a long time bud.. Wish they would, that would be a lot easier to find!

Man, that is a beating.  Trust me, I feel you.  With a heel as narrow as a teenage girl and a forefoot as wide as a defensive lineman, I constantly struggle to find shoes and had to shell out $1,300 for custom ice hockey skates just to be able to work as a hockey official after my old skates wore out completely.

If you are walker Foot Joys are very good. If you want a stable shoe that looks great go with Adiddas 360. If you want style go with Duca de Cosma or G-Fore. If you like plain comfortable shoes Sketchers are ok. IMG_7529.jpeg.81f91e5fc89c62125bcbb2ee0e773a71.jpeg

So… 1st question… do you rotate your shoes on an ongoing basis, so that you only wear each pair once a year?  Just asking for a friend…. 😂

While everybody else looking at the shoes, I'm trying to figure out why the car is parked on carpet.. My wife don't even let me bring slippers on the carpet🤣
