GolfSpy WD
I'm sure they're nice, but it looks like they were taped together in the middle. You'll have to tell us what you think on their feel and durability once you install them. @GolfSpy_WD
SPY VIP The Dansome Posted October 4, 2012 Author SPY VIP Share Posted October 4, 2012 I'm sure they're nice, but it looks like they were taped together in the middle. You'll have to tell us what you think on their feel and durability once you install them. It's like a velvet/wrap hybrid material in the middle and Seems pretty well made. I'll make sure to keep you guys updated on how they are, really nice feel with the velvet cord up top and the wrap below. furu
Sharpro 3Cat I´ve tried them. A good idea but in my mind it ends up as not the best of both worlds but a half finished product. The quality is good.

GolfSpy Tim
would love to try these. I'm pretty much torn at all times between these two and haven't been able to commit to the velvets but this looks like a good middle ground.
JBones
I have actually been thinking about going to a hybrid grip as well. Please put up a review when you get some play time with them. Follow @GolfspyBones

SPY VIP Tony Covey MGS Posted October 8, 2012 SPY VIP Share Posted October 8, 2012 They look really cheap from the photos, I hops that they last longer then a couple of weeks. I suppose we have to appreciate and respect the honesty here. Sharpro definitely what I'd consider to be a bargain brand, though I've heard mostly good things, and they'll likely last a season. I do find the cord/wrap combo interesting, though full disclosure, I don't like cord grips, and I don't like wraps, so unless two wrongs somehow make a right, then these aren't for me anyway. JBones
I can't speak for Sharpro, but I have played two cheaper grips that have held up to their more expensive counter parts. I had Goodyear full cords that were identical to my Golf Prides and they're still in great shape after two seasons. I've also been gaming Karmas for quite a while and other than the whites being pretty dirty, they have all held up great.
