Alright, reply done and on to my actual day. The wife had a long week as she became the defacto boss since she is number two, and the real boss was out sick with covid. So she’s sleeping still and I’m going to let her. My male pup has become attached to her hip so he is with her right now. The two girls knew it was time to get up and go out and get breakfast. As for me, I’m sitting here drinking coffee pondering what we are going to do today. May go over to williamsburg and go walk around some stores. I’ll try to drag her into the golf store up there if we do go. Anyhow, hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning spies!
That smell in the air is a tee time this morning. Decided last night to book one. Going to get out there nice and early. It is supposed to rain all week but at this point, who really knows anymore? Regardless, it is supposed to be heavy for at least a few days so I am squeezing in a quick out. Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Good Saturday to all. Day 2 of work weekend. Got Called in at 0200 amd already 2 cups down on the java express
Can't wait for Monday! Nothing special, just not on duty!!! Ha

So I will repeat yesterday's meme.

Hole 17 for me I hit it right of the fairway, then hit my second to 8 feet short and the pin was maybe 5 feet on. Took my 9 and chipped it onto the green and watched it roll to the left part of the cup. Must have had enough over the edge cause it fell in for a birdie. I was pretty excited, second time I’ve chipped in. This one just happened to help me shoot a lower score. The previous one was for triple bogey, not as exciting

Definitely looking forward to signing up to be a tester. Going to be excited whether I’m selected or not to read the reviews of the ones doing the testing.

Well, chilly but I shot an 86. Before we do any congratulatory replies, let me say this first. If it were dryer I’d probably have shot a 96. I did have a nice chip in birdie on the 17th hole. In total I had three birdies. I will say I learned to take more club with me, albeit that was on the 15th hole when I figured that out. Who knew cooler temps make the ball fly shorter…🙄. I do need to practice putting more to get more consistent on the course I played since it is going to be my go to course now.

As someone who has been newish to the game and do at least once a week play, you have to have fun every time you go out and play. If there is a shot that you make all the time, but wind up duffing it that one time yes you get aggravated. But you have to laugh at yourself. Getting better is the ultimate goal yes, but having fun regardless of how you are playing is key. Even if you had a bad day on the course, deep down you had fun because you see what you need to work on to get better. When I was getting out drove by 50-60 yards, I still had fun. I was learning. You just have to keep learning every time you go play. But that is my mindset and may not work for others.
