TaylorMade has introduced three new products designed to elevate your golf game: the P·770 Irons, P·7CB Irons, and the Hi-Toe 4 Wedge. We’re looking for six golfers—two for each product—to test, review, and keep these clubs. This is your chance to see if TaylorMade’s claims hold up when these clubs are put to the test by real golfers like you!
    What you’ll be testing
TaylorMade P·770 Irons: These irons are crafted for golfers who desire a blend of distance and forgiveness within a compact design. The hollow body construction with SpeedFoam Air aims to combine power with precision, while also providing a soft feel on impact. They’re said to be perfect for those who want to shape their shots without compromising on distance.
TaylorMade P·7CB Irons: Aimed at golfers who value precision, these cavity-back irons blend a traditional look with modern engineering. They are built to deliver high levels of control and feedback, allowing for a variety of shot shapes. This should make them a top choice for those who prioritize accuracy and feel.
TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 Wedge: This wedge is designed for versatility in short-game scenarios. Featuring full-face grooves and a high-toe design, it’s engineered to enhance spin and control, especially when executing open-faced shots. It’s intended to perform well in a range of conditions and lies, making it a go-to option for short-game enthusiasts.

Please welcome and congratulate our testers!

This past weekend was probably the worst golf weekend that I have experienced in 3 years!!!!!
Nothing, but nothing would work. Shot a 103, 15 over my handicap!!!! It was so frustrating that on  a number of instances I seriously contemplated wrapping my irons in a bowtie around the nearest tree, and also do the Rory McIlroy (BMW Championship) trick with my driver.  I am sure that I would have played a better round using a baseball bat.
On the 10th I hit the longest travelling shot, probably 150yds up and 150yds down and only 80 yds long. The ball was hit so bad that the crown of the driver nearly cut the ball cover.  It was hit so high that it was classified as a meteorite and had scorch marks on the cover on re-entry into the atmosphere.
On the 8th, I shanked my gap wedge and the ball landed in a hazard area.  I decided to play it as it lies with my trusty 45 year old Wilson SW.  I tested the ground behind the ball for rocks (there are granite rocks the size of footballs on the creek's banks).  No rocks behind or under the ball......hmmmmm, did my normal practice swing and low and behold hit a granite rock which was next to the ball, damaging my trusty wedge.
My wife said she felt so sorry for me as she could see, and obviously hear (🤐), the frustration in me.  My frustration also rubbed off on our playing partners affecting their game.  The only person in the 4-ball that played well was my wife, since she eventually did everything that I taught her (made 37 pts).
This week is only driving range week.....there is a shop where I can sell my clubs...😭😭

I played a round recently where I had 11 putts on the front nine…amazing putting day, right?
Well, I chipped in twice and only hit 2 greens.  The chipping was getting close enough to salvage a decent round…but stats alone can be deceiving.

Me too! My putting is even worse than putts per round as I chip in or close often and end up with one putt on the card. My putts per GIR would be pretty ugly. Likely over 2 with the 2 or 3 three-putts I throw in per round 😔.

We’re are bringing another newly launch product by way of the latest additions to Callaway's renowned Apex line of irons—the Apex Ai200 and Ai300 to member testing.
The Apex line has a rich history, originally stemming from the legendary Ben Hogan brand, and has been a go-to for serious golfers since Callaway adopted it. Known for combining the feel of a forged iron with cutting-edge performance, the Apex irons have continually evolved to meet the needs of today’s players.
These new models claim to represent a significant leap forward in golf club technology, blending Callaway's advanced artificial intelligence design with premium forged construction. The Ai200 is designed for players seeking a balance of distance and precision, featuring a sleek, fully forged hollow-body construction. On the other hand, the Ai300 caters to those needing a more forgiving, game-improvement iron without sacrificing the feel and control that better players demand. Both models are designed to deliver superior consistency, performance, and a modernized look and feel, which is where you come in.
Please welcome and congratulate our testers!

It’s getting cooler in the morning, but hotter during the day-
wore my normal shorts and sweatshirt to start, but simply couldn’t get anything going until the back- +11 on the front, and plus 1 on the back for an ugly 83…
got creamed by my buddy by 4… but I can win on Thursday and split the week…
    Go Hawks…
