I'd like to keep the original idea but do have some thoughts on directions to pivot- "Aunt Thread"- where we discuss all things good and bad related to the sisters of our respective parents "Runt Thread"- This would be a safe space for all of those smallest members of the litter. 4 legged friends welcome "Pant Thread"- Keep your tongues in your mouth, this thread will be to debate the merits of various forms of trousers. I foresee a March Madness Chino Cloth vs Denim finale And finally.. "Van Zan(d)t thread"- A potentially explosive Lynyrd Skynyrd vs Bruce Springsteen E Street Band Street brawl. I'm calling Skynyrd based on raw numbers of Van Zants. I know these are all gold, but I just don't think we can have them all at the same time. Too much room for conflict with these incendiary topics Sent from my Pixel 3 using MyGolfSpy mobile app

+1 for me too on this question. It's incredible the driver has Hand Crafted Hzrdous Black as a stock option. Was the Tensei Pro an upcharge and did you get to test it head to head against the Hzrdous? Sent from my Pixel 3 using MyGolfSpy mobile app

It's been a while but I think our was 12:00 or under to max the 2 miler, and something like 75 pushups and situps. There was a scale based on age but it was a loooong time ago. I remember beating 12:00 once and couldn't believe it was possible to run faster than that.

You guys must be Marines! Back in my Army days in the 90s pullups were not even part of the assessment thankfully. Pushups, situps and 2 mile run was our PT test. Maybe that's why I was in the rear with the gear , I was the best little REMF I could be

OG I did 4 years active duty so if I could make it I think he'll be fine. Biggest key is to shut off your ego. Yes, it's not fair. No, nobody cares, STFU and do what you're supposed to. Actually pretty good model for success there

Dang man, you ok today?

Played in my sectional US Mid Am Qualifier today at Crooked Stick. Had a sort of scratchy +2 on the first 9 then birdied my 10th hole to get to +1. Couple holes later on a long par 3 I have a little pitch off of tight wet lie and fatted it about a yard forward. Bounced dead sideways and went down the slope of a bunker beside me and stopped in long snarled grass way below my feet. Couple more swats at it and I make triple on a par 3 then miss 3 more par putts inside 5 feet coming in and sign for 79. Not the first time I've put myself in position to have a chance then throw it away with poor play and poor execution. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. That's golf I guess

I have played for years in a small 2 day tournament that does the same thing. The flights are established by day 1 scores. The only difference is they won't let anyone outside Champ flight improve more than 7 shots on day 2 scoring.

Circle T Button Back T10 Newport 2 - Koepka Putter

This is probably not the right venue to sell that club, but it is 100% the right place to tell the story of how you ended up with one- 12 replies

Stack and Tilt
gaussman1 replied to Gg Owen's topic in Lessons, Drills, Mental Game, and Fitness Tips
The thing is, no tour players got better doing S&T and several got decidedly worse. Not to mention it put an awful lot of strain on the lower back, which gives any golfing method a pretty short life span -

I really feel for the poor inside guy. Would be a tough job to pull off with no corporate support -

I owned a retail golf store 15 years ago and we had a Full Swing Golf Simulator. Don't pretend to know the science but we cracked balls of all sorts very regularly. Pro V to Top Flite, it made no difference. I guess if you hit just into a net it would take a lot longer but those impact screens are pretty firm and heavy so doesn't take long for a single ball. We made some of the OEMs send us free balls monthly to use when Demo-ing their clubs

Re-gripping with an air compressor

He's not lying. Using the standard probe attachment blows up as many grips as it saves -
Re-gripping with an air compressor
gaussman1 replied to Jiro's topic in Club Making/Repair & DIY Projects
I pulled off a couple of New Decade Align grips with air today and it was murder. NDs have always have a sticking point right in the middle of the gripthat takes forever to work loose. Probably took 10 minutes per grip to work them loose. I went through all this because I had built them up and it was a mistake so I wanted to take the wraps back down without sacrificing the grips. They were still fine after working them loose and putting back on w air took mere seconds so was ready for play moments later. -

Not terribly. Good hard finishing stretch 16-18 and tough par 4s 8 & 11 but there are a bunch of legit birdie holes and a few eagle opportunities. If you drive it in the fairway you'll score well. Every time they host any state event scores are very low. The par 5s are just not long enough to fend off bigger hitters

Sixcat raising the prices doesn't necessarily change that. I play at a fully private that's thought of as one of the more serious courses in the area and we have flat out drunken behavior by a number of members and their guests of all age groups. It's not exactly discouraged by management. They sell a lot of booze and add that revenue straight to the bottom line

I'm not sure there's anything wrong with what he was doing. His explanation was that the hole location sheets are sometime off just a bit so he was charting where the hole actually was back to his green map. None of that is against the rules. At the moment anyway

Shot 78 in State Open qual with a bunch of pull hook tee shots into the trees left. 76 got in. Was very tight all day and never loosened up. Missed the green left to a right edge flag on the last hole and 3 jacked to finish. Was sort of fitting.
