  1. It's my understanding that the true cg of the ball may not be in line with the seam, thus the dicrepancy ssen here. I could be wrong.
  2. Ok I stand corrected- thanks for the heads up!
  3. Those are CLEARLY Northstars colors.
  4. If you're on a budget, pick up an Adams LP series. EEEAASY launch, straight. Distance is good but won't keep up with more modern clubs. Very cheap. Be careful in the rough.
  5. Try finding a left handed adapter- the upright setting should flatten it (it's reversed)- not sure what this does for loft settings.
  6. Ok so I can't figure out how to quote- but any right thinking Minnesotan knows those are Northstars colors!
  7. I certainly love playing the classics too- I have some great thrift store funds: Walter Hagen "Forged in USA" blades 5-p + Hogan Radial 4i, ~'71 Hogan Bounce Sole 2-p and a set of beautiful Mac Muirfield blades 3-p that I got off the classifieds here. I'll combo one of these sets up with my Dad's old custom persimmons 1, 3, 5, and sometimes 7, with an old Ram sand wedge my Dad gave me as a kid and one of the various brass putters I've got. It's great fun, and nothing beats the feel of puring one. Funny thing is I can still whoop my buddy and be neck and neck with my lady- with them using their frontline stuff. When they use one of my classic sets, it can get pretty... colorful. I think everyone should give it a try- you can find a couple clubs cheap (they don't have to be wallhangers)- if for no other reason than to get a little perspective, and again, that feeling...
  8. I think I may already know the answer to this, but why go with a Tour head for the 3i?
  9. Don't forget the 2 1/2, 3 1/2 woods!
  10. There definitely is a TV commercial, but I meant (snarkily) the website.
  11. Edit: nevermind, I was too lazy to look at pictures while on my phone- didn't realize there was no lip on the eyepiece... Doh.
  12. Can you roll back the lip of the eyepiece like some binoculars? That helps when I wear my glasses.
  13. I must be looking at the wrong website... I only saw an infomercial and the 45 when I tried to look it up...
  14. You mean kinda like these? Custom made for my Dad back in '83 or so.
