  1. Finally getting the chance to add to this one. Yes is the answer, without a doubt yes. Allyssa is an amazing mom and someone who doesn't give herself enough credit. We have taken quite a journey together as a couple and she has been beyond supportive and brave along the way. We moved to a new country where she had little chance to work because of language and has just been incredible the whole time. She has allowed me to follow my dreams and been right there with me along the way. She is a huge animal lover and we are so fortunate to have a growing family with our son Ivan, new baby (in June) and 3 dogs (Apollo, Oliver and Fender). All of this would not have been possible without her and I truly cannot thank her enough for joining me on this crazy ride and being the amazing supporting wife she has been.
  2. As an update on this I just havent had the time to play recently. Lots going on with work, family and forum. Thankfully come February things ease up and will be able to get back to some training and practice. Should be a bit dryer here then too which should allow for more rounds!
  3. Pretty sure I have about 29 different driver swings and about 15 different feels for a single swing. Never know what is going to feel better or work and can change day to day round to round. I can only imagine trying to consciously try have two distinct different swings would lead to absolute disaster. I'm sure some can do it just fine. However I'll try and work on my neutral solid single swing vs two different ones. Golf is hard enough as is.
  4. Sounds like the league should think about doing split tees or something to make it more appealing the everyone. Sorry if I missed this in a earlier post, but has it been brought to the league or has a request for potentially two divisions been made or anything along those lines?
  5. Glad to see you are doing this Rob. You've mentioned Sophies youtube reviews a few times the last few weeks and I believe when you do things like this (not joking) it really is for the good of the forum. Yes, we may joke around at the shear number of clubs you go through, but your experiences with them and how they perform and the stories behind your fittings as well as their on course appeal to your game is so relatable to many here on the forum. It will be great to see what comes out on top and what surprises are in store for you during this whole process. My vote is that Paradym wins out for you by a sliver over TSR1. At least that is what my gut says. Cobra in third, but you end up playing it the most during the testing period.
  6. Certainly has the most hype or buzz around it compared to any other that came out this year. Last year was for sure TM and the carbon face and now Callawy with carbon body. I am looking forward to seeing these in person.
  7. Something I like about these compared to my 659 TC is how low the bottom groove is. It isn't a huge deal, but the 659 TC almost looks like it is missing a half groove or the grooves are a half groove higher than they were supposed to be. Also the white line is bottom groove is something I do like as well.
  8. Looks like we will have enough for close to 5 divisions! Great to see. I will be sending out invite links next week and will start working on divisions etc this weekend. We will keep signups open right to the very end so if you know of anyone who wants to join or are reading this post in a week don't worry it is still open to get in. Just post in this thread letting us know that you are interested. Final details will be worked out over the coming week as well.
  9. Good possibility? However would be great if you could get to a shop and try it out to see how it works. Recommending shafts on SS alone is so difficult as there are so many factors that come into it. That being said on paper it "should" be a good fit.
  10. I was all excited that I would get some range time in today with the weather being a slight bit less wet and although I do have to work all day (heading into work in about 10 minutes and have an event going on all day ending at 11pm) but normally games are 2 hours between games so that would have left me about a hour for the range. Unfortunately after double checking the game schedule they are shortened games so only last about a hour and a half which is still possible, but kills the time greater making it too rushed. So sadly have to wait till sometime next week instead!
  11. I believe it was the title and a overly eager anti spam filter that caused the issue. I went back and corrected it and changed the title as well as corrected the account. Apologies!
  12. Out of curiosity have you tried going left hand low to see if the same thing happens?
  13. Hmm i need to get back at it. I've actually been playing a lot of Risk online.
  14. So we have a hat and a towel... what other surprises will await @DaveP043 and myself!
  15. If this has been shared my apologies, but a good watch from one of the worlds best. Also he may have the best line right to start. He only and very simply only asks for 3 things haha
  16. I should state I am happy with my drivers right now and am doing a little shootout to find out what will be my gamer, however IF I was in the market I think everything would be on the table. For starters I would want something that out does my current driver. I would want something that has tighter dispersion and allows me to swing freely. Stock shaft options would be a consideration as well. As Callaway has been a company I have always got on well with I think they would rank highly with the TSr lineup be right there with it. After that I think TM, Srixon, Ping and Cobra would all be in contention. Mizuno maybe being a darkhorse. In the end it would be a fitting that would determine what I walk home with. It has been really exciting and I have enjoyed seeing all the new drivers come out I will admit I am not crazy on any that I need to go out and have a must get driver. Maybe I am wrong and there is one that will be way better than my Tsi3, but I think it will be a tough one to beat overall!
  17. I had a pair of the original or model from 2019 or something and were great. One of my favorite pairs of shoes to date. I left them back in Canada by mistake when I moved though and haven't been back since to get them! Edit sorry mine were the spikeless...
  18. I haven't seen any option on any site for it. So at the moment no. I don't completely rule it out, but I also likely won't be the one running it.
  19. Awesome to have so many jumping in right away! Still time to sign up for those who want in. We will have further details on official format next week!
  20. Great to hear! Sorry won't be joining this year. However already have it on my radar for future years!
  21. I think @GolfSpy_BOS had the right idea with a golf trip. Equipment comes and goes and unless there is a true standout for you right now this season I would say see if you can swing a weekend trip or experience. I am sure there are other spies that would meet up or join you depending on where you go. At least that is what I would be looking at doing!
  22. I still have a set of FlyZ Pro irons and you are spot on the feel is just beyond good. Had the Amp Cell pro as well and loved them, but were a bit too much game for me. I love my sub70 and will be playing them for the season, but won't be surprised to see a set of these make their way into my bag in the future.
  23. Was a great review by TXG. I'll admit i don't engage as well with these outdoor release Videos as much, but still enjoy watching them of course. These are a must try for so many I'm thinking. Just so clean and pure. Well done cobra, well done!
